i'm even having doubts about hotpoint now i think the glass door design of the hotpoint aqualtis needs to be looked at, i've notice really fine shaving of rubber on the drum rim, i think its where the laundry has spun on the rubber, in my zanussi this never accured unless a bra got caught...

@nrones i think a slow tumble rinse for cycle such as synthetics is necessary because its prevents creases and gives the garments a longer life span. one thing i do have 1 problem wid my aqualtis when it has a full load my floor vibrates, but in that video the machine looks cramped, i only fill...

@nrones i own a aqualtis its very good, i get good wash results everytime, as for the rinse on the cotton cycle the drum rotates at a good speed, but i guess everyone's personal experience is different to others

@solsburian what hoover washing machine do you have by the way?

cheers for the info solsburian, if this machine does not last i will buy either LG or Siemens IQ but at the moment i have 5yrs warranty and 5yrs parts and labour i just hope it remains problem free, right now it washing 3 sets of bath mats 5 tea towels on 1600rpm bed & bath cycle.

all these exploding washing machine caused by weak welding of the drum, is making me paranoid and nervous, because i own hotpoint aqualtis which is made by the indesit company and the other day i read this very one thread on exploding machines, and it starting to make me nervous and paranoid...

@aegokocarat Don't take this personally but zanussi are not all crap, they are hell of alot better than majority of the brands out there. Before i got my aqualtis, my zanussi last over 9yrs with only 2repaires it use do up to 6 loads a week or more, but i guess it depends on the user or maybe...

i like the design of those machines, i'm sure the effectiveness and reliability is on point.

i have an aqualtis (new version) colourfast darks, i used cotton coloured or the jeans cycle on a cold wash 800 to 1200rpm normal load cotton & synthetics 30 to 40 degrees (depend on soil level) 800 to 1200rpm bedding & towels, cotton cycle or bed & bath cycle 40 to 90degrees with steam...

very nice looking machine, as usual in america they have better looking fl washers

auto dose here's a diagram how the auto dose system looks inside the machine its a bit like the american GE front loaders except the tanks are placed in the pedestal
