    Bosch New Line for 2011/2012

I don't disagree. Will see when they get here what prices are and warranty is etc., as that may change between the continent and the UK...

    Boilwash

There's no way with that number of people and animals that it should lead to 8-9 washes per day... But, well, you do what you do I guess. Have never had any trouble with boil washes causing problems for a machine. I don't use them all the time, but do occasional ones.

    Bosch New Line for 2011/2012

Cost doesn't equal quality, unfortunately. Though I suspect they have some things that the current machine doesn't, it may not cost much more to build, but they can charge more and make more profit from it...

    Haier Motor

and off at a tangent I was resisting the temptation to post on this thread, but seeing the following comment made me too annoyed not to. and anyway the enviroment is F*****D no matter what we do... Oh really? And you don't think you could do anything to help the environment? That's a shocking...

    Washing babyclothing.

I've got a ZWF1440 - got it in autumn 04 and it seems, so far, to be working without any hitches. (*touches wood* *crosses fingers* etc... :-) ) I mostly use Tesco non-bio tablets, but occasionally use Fairy or Persil non-bio, all of which work fine and get out pretty much anything we've come...

    The Apprentice-Dishwasher Style (U.K)

No kidding. Was it's name Michael by any chance?

    Detergents don't cause allergies?!

I can't say exactly where the blame lies, but I am sensitive to biological detergents and not so much to non-biological. Maybe the biological detergents don't rinse out as well, or there is something in them that leaves a residue not in the non-bio, but they affect my skin. Non-bio has too, if...

    Washing babyclothing.

My Zanussi has been dealing well with kids clothes and nappies for 3.5 years now, and still running great. You might find one of your older machines to be as good or better than anything modern to have in the house for general use. I disagree with those saying to use bio washing powders, but...

    Washing babyclothing.

Congratulations Darren! I did wonder when you mentioned about news that would mean you'd be saving up... I can give you plenty of tips on this one! - Use non-bio detergents, preferably unscented or lightly scented. - Don't use softener, but use a little white vinegar in the rinse. This is...

"Hoover Can Handle It"........ I Think Not!

Call Hoover, ask to speak to a customer service supervisor and advise them that you would like them to replace your machine at no extra cost, or provide a full refund, as the machine is not fit for the purpose for which it was sold. It may be wise to try this with the store you bought it from...

New washing machines built to last???

The dishwasher is a Beko, and the previous ISE5 was also a Beko, so the current 5 and 2 may be as well. They seem rather expensive for what they are, though I certainly appreciate the sentiment of repair rather than replace.
