Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

I think it is just a washer.

I also notice that the outer tub seems to be octagonal, and the with the twin bearings, I thought Staber (???).

The machine seems to be destined for various countries, so maybe it originates from the Far East?

Seems a funny way of going about their publicity.

I'm even more convinced that it is a machine from Dyson!

My points:
1- The logotype is the same as Dyson
2- The UK electric plug is shown everywere
3- The £ pound sybol is everywhere too
4- Arial Extreme Gel is sold only in the UK as I know (I bought mine there LOL)
5- 200 machines are going to be sold in the UK and only 100 in the other "countries"
6- The website is there only to create hype on the market and this is typical of Dyson

Anyway, I wouldn't want that machine even for free (well, if it was free, maybe yes)... there are many things that I don't like, like the detergent "pods"... I currently use 4 different detergents according to the load type, I guess you guys do the same! Plus liquid doesn't clean as well as any powder I know of, even cheap ones outperform the best liquids I tried (and suds less!)
Also, the 10 Kg capacity is bogus, I bet that at best the machine can hold confortably some like 7 Kg of laundry, otherwise it'll be cramped.
Finally, no thanks, I'm not going to "turn to 15°c"!
Oh, did I mention that I like to see the clothes tumble on the washer? ;)

The only feature that I like is that it preheats the water to room temperature, even if that would be useless at my place because we have underfloor heating and cold water comes out at around 30°C because of the buired radiators... and what about a hot fill too that I could connect to solar collectors?!

What do you think guys?

Reason for Washing

Well it just gets more interesting!!!, do you know what, I think its the new DYSON, the language, style of PR, even font and links could make it so, even the worldwide networks!!!

In a time when every other manufacturer is struggling, and cutting back on their product line, never mind what makes up the contents of a machine, it will need a more than a steely drum to launch this next year....on the otherhand, people like "NEW"

Interesting concept, cross between Dyson (bearings, drum , suspension) & Monotub Titan (slide out drum and separate water heating tank (ballast), those slide outs will have to be sturdy to take the weight of 10kg of cottons when damp!!

Not sure about the dispensers, I`d want a choice of detergents, not all from the one (assuming) same dispenser!!! One To Watch for Sure...!!!

Useless detergent dispenser

I do agree with Mike and Gabriele, also some household miele (liquidwash) have this useless gadget

This makes sense in commercial machines that have to cope with several batches a day. They have 5/6 tanks that hold the various products that are pumped in the right amount when needed.

I'll do mine by myself...

Hi all,
anyway my opinion is the same as before regarding this "new-entry"...

I would like only to point out how at end that's what it'll be the new kind of washing machine growing up for future... just like the first electric washing machine patented in USA in 1910, TOP LOADING HORIZONTAL AXIS!

I don't matter aobut all these new "Dysoness"... bla-bla-bla but look at how many Dyson contrarotator drums have been sold!?

Obviously... this is a business bigger than mine but, none of the appliances producers have shown as "interested" in my idea that... as Josephine Cochraine did with what dishwashser now is I'll do with my new Superautomatica...

I'll do by myself! As the prototyping phase will be arriving at end... the "new" production will start and why not I'll do some webpages too.

A challenge for me... but as you american friends recently heard... "we can do!" :D

Dyson-esque

Take look at the steel drum when the drawer is open (best viewed in the video of the guy using it).

The drum has its holes perfectly aligned in rows and has relatively few holes. It looks not unlike the outer wall of the Dyson Contrarotator drum.

Any other drum that I've ever seen, has the holes offset in rows.

Could the fellow 'using' the machine, be one of James Dyson's sons?

It could be Dyson conducting a trial before committing to launching the product. If it backfires it could tarnish the main Dyson brand, so they might want to iron the bugs out first before declaring any involvement.

It would be quite unusual to launch something like this without the backing of a fairly large company behind you. This really seems to have appeared out of the blue too.

Also, it's terrible timing for a launch of an expensive domestic appliance. People are tightening their belts and I suspect that many will hold off on kitchen and laundry appliance upgrades until this recession has passed!

Personally, I can't see any major advantage to that design. I prefer the idea of a machine with a large porthole. It's just as easy to load and I really don't like the idea of not being able to see the the wash. I have no idea why, but it seems like something you should see.

Well....I`m in

What a fascinating bedtime read!!!seems to be as I said earlier a cross between Dyson & Titan...that drive linckage mechanism looks complicated...and possibly two motor ...Dyson.....heater within resovoir...& slide out clothes cylinder....Titan.....joggle dial looks interesting, at least we can dial tepms and spin speeds etc...

Ohhh...the plot thickens.....I`d want one of those ballast tanks to be a "Sudz Saver"...very eco friendly, AND hot & cold fill so I can use my solar free heated hot / warmer water

My bet is they are all glued to sites like this so....any other "Best Of" features we can suggest ladies & gentlemen!!!

Starters for ten, list below!!!

that drive linckage mechanism looks complicated...and possib

Eh???

I can only see one motor (slung underneath), and one simple belt-pulley (on back of drum). I cannot see any complicated drive mechanism.

the worst!

It's a TL but you open it by the front..

You load it by top but of course you cannot add any itemes when the cycle has already started... what a wet floor otherwise LOL!!

The porthole close with the outertub... so during the spin you see the lid shaking?!!?

The shaft more critic is generally the rear one there where you have the pulley and the trasmission... neither is stronger but worse is SLIDING!??!

It will be the "best washigm machine ever made"... but honsetly not only 10Kg and low temperature and low water level (and detergent auto-dosage) make a good machine!
