    LG Hi there, The LG had no separate spin cycle either. I asked the engineer ( on one of his many visits) why it dose not have a separate spin cycle. It has he said! Just switch on the machine and turn the spin speed selector and there you go spin only. Its not in the instruction book any...

    Loverly Thos are lovely machines, and thank you for the link. I Have been after a Hot point twin-tub but they end up well out side what I can afford, sometimes going for moor than they were new.

    Not there :( Unfortunately this model did not have the eco button! I don't have the funds for a new one and I may sell the LG as sparers and repair. The hart Foundation charity shop has a nice bosh max for £140 I may get that.

    Frayed Well he found the problem, a frayed ribbon wire, he had not got one but should do in a few days. He hopes it has not buggerd the motor board up as its a sealed unit and not fixable you have to replace the whole thing.

    WD40 Some of the older timers in Hot points use nylon parts inside and nylon and WD40 hate each other and could render the timer useless. I use silicone lubricant which is a lot safer.
