What degreaser works best on cast aluminum burners without discoloring or damaging the casting?

Frig has water under containers on top glass shelf. I dont understand if the water if from condensation or what but most anything put on the top grig glass shelf will make a puddle, very weird. Anyone know what to do. The frig is a Kenmore, might that be the problem?;) Its about 15 years old...
