    Bendix Auto Drier De Luxe

My uncle had the Philco version of the dryer. Remember it was really quiet! Always liked the fact that the timer ticked away like a kitchen timer. Along with the mid 80s philips washing machine and AEG DishwasherI loved going there! David

    Beko tumble dryer DRCS68W

Hehe, its for my mother in law or else i wouldn't be on here since i'd be ordering an AEG heat pump dryer or the Miele one finances permitting. Going to take a chance on the Beko. Will at least show her the error of her ways if it turns out to be a pile of rubbish. I was trying to steer her to...

    Beko tumble dryer DRCS68W

I have a midrange Zanussi condenser dryer, which i paid £200 for but its £300 now to 189 for the Beko or I would have made her go for that. Theres a Candy similarly priced and she does love her Hoover Vision washing machine. I think it looks pretty flimsy. Thanks for the advice guys!

    Beko tumble dryer DRCS68W

My mother in law is thinking about purchasing this dryer. Wondering what people think about it. I've not heard that much about Beko dryers so really don't know. Hotpoint/ Indesit dryers are out since the ones i have heard have been very noisy. Searching online seems to give mix of places that...

How does your washer handle Sudslocks?

My Miele W3922WPS will keep slowing the spin down until it gets to 400rpm. If it cannot get above 400rpm it will stop, sit there for 5 minutes and then try again. Regardless of whether or not it spins again it will add an extra rinse and tell me to check the detergent when its done. The extra...

washing dishes is a thing of the past in the Parker household :)

Your probably right about the date, my Granparents bought their machine in 1988. They had the 1000rpm matching washing machine. Hated the smoked plastic but it sure did look handsome! David

washing dishes is a thing of the past in the Parker household :)

Lovely!! My Granparents had a full size Electrolux dishwasher from around the same time. It was so quiet and well buit! I always thought the machine was ahead of its time! If i'm on the checkouts in work i'll dissuade people from buying dishwasher salt since we don't have hard water! I used...

    Ebay UK June 2010

Cool! My friend had that homark dishwasher. It was pretty cool, they had theirs under the kitchen sink. Was pretty quiet although you had pull cupboard door open a bit while it was running. It was bought 1991- 1992 and was still going 2 years ago. David

We had a Hotpoint 9934 washer dryer that done a very similar spin cycle. instead of stopping and going straight back into distribution it would do a tumble then go straight into it. It done the snatching thing too! Brings back some memories! in the final spin after the second burst it would...

    White Knight Condensor Dryer

I bought a Zanussi sensor condenser dryer 3 years ago and it been flawless. Strange thing is that I have to dry my towels on 'Slightly Damp' or else it gets over dry. Clothes get done on 'Store Dry' and there fine! No problems with moisture from it, although the first couple of cycles the...
