    detergent I use Wisk Deep Clean and it is wonderful. 40 cents/load for the Fuller sounds kind of high to me. You can usually get 1$ coupons around here for the Wisk in the Sunday papers. True it does suds up a lot but I measure on to the second highest line for large loads in my top loader...

    1990 Whirlpool DD occasional pump noise.

    pump noise My last WP DD machine did this with hot water. The machine was only a couple of years old and started with a squeal/squeak only with hot water. The machine continue to run fine however and the pump did not leak or anything.

    We had one of these Manufactured in 1990 with the short stroke transmission. Same coloring on the control panel. It had infinite water level, three temps and a one speed motor (fabric matic)

    'Pilling' prob on my 1 year old today SQ 's

    I had the marks appear on some clothes once. I had an older Maytag dryer at the time and it was coming from the front, clothes were getting caught were the drum turned at the front of the dryer. Left a brownish black mark.
