    Frigidaire Classic Front Load Washer

Maybe it's a bit impolite... But does one of you has a working set and is willing to do some shots of it's performance? :) I mean having the impression that this machine is for some people a kind of an icon in US front loading washers... it would be nice to see and hear it for "eternity" on...

German 1956 "Constructa K3" washing machine video

bit off topic But "der klassische waschmethode" needed the "Henco" soda to soften the water and soak / prewash the linnens. Persil was the detergent to boilwash. The perboraat en silicaat did the job. And next Sil as a rinse additive (Laundress can you explain Sil? :) ) If I'm right this...

German 1956 "Constructa K3" washing machine video

Constructa vs. others As I see the videos and read about the washers of Constructa, I think that Constructa used a different "wash-methode" than what is common. The classic wash sequence is 2 baths, prewash / mainwash, and then a number of rinses. From what I see the constructa has 2 pumps...

    Rinsaid dispensing... zanussi ZDi 6453x

Hi! I was drawing plans in my kitchen when I noticed a smell of rinse aid during the washcycle of my dishwasher. I have had thoughts of the machine not working well. The machine was performing a Quick30'-65°C cycle. But at a certain time in the washphase, few minutes after the lid of the...

    Miele W961 motor fail

Hi everyone, My miele Gold 2000 (w961 wps) got showered last night! One the central heating pipes developed a leak. Water seeped on the machine and made its way in the controlboard of the machine. I opened the machine up and let every dry out for 24h. Everything seems to work fine, except the...

Miele 898 SCI (dw) drainage problem...WTF?

The slow rate your dishwasher is filling up, seems to me that the internal cap of the inletvalve is leaking. Althought the valve is functioning, a small leak overtime can fill up the sump of your dishwasher. Replacing the inlet valve is the option. Any backup for this theory?

    Miele experts HELP!!!!

What I saw in that previous thread is that de hose next to the filter was't clipped to the drainport. I should be. When you close that port, the tube is pressed inwards, and I guess by that closed and thight securly. Maybe you should try that?

Why are there no gas ranges...

At some point Nestor Martin's range division was sold off to a french company in 1985. By then they bought up a lot of brands for domestic appliances like Arhur Martin, Sauter, Rossières, etc. I think they are now part of Elux. Nestor Martin became indeed a cheapmade range, without fancy...

Why are there no gas ranges...

Those are very old models, more like early 70ties. My parents moved in 1983 featuring this as their cookingrange for up to 32 years. http://img1.kapaza.be/images/65/658519037560695.jpg

Why are there no gas ranges...

As a kid we had a gasrange (nestor martin). I loved the simplicity of it. The results in the oven where actually good. As electricity is getting ridiculously expensive here (the global cost went up by 40%) I was looking into alternatives for a versatile electrci oven. And I ended up on the other...

Why are there no gas ranges...

Hi Foraloysius, As I live in Belgium I first checked the belgian websites. Ten years ago, the Dutch productrange of many rangebrands offered more "gasversions" of their cookers than in Belgium. Due to the cheaper gasprices I guess. I looked at your suggestion and I must say i'm impressed...

Why are there no gas ranges...

with multifunction ovens sold in the EU? First I want to explain what I consider as a multifunction oven. Most brands consider a multifunction oven as an oven with a heatsource at the bottom, one at the top or a seperate broilerfunction, and a fan to distribute the heat evenly. Some add an...

Found in KNACK-magazine... name the appliances!

Miele W304 Special IV - Drum not turning after period of non-use

When u open up your machine, you could try to undo the belt. If you can turn the drum by hand, nothing is wrong with the drum, but the motor is blocked by something or the motorbearrings are stuck. If the drum still doesn't turn. Try to acces the drum by the drainhole or fill hole. Uncouple the...
