Keep in mind guys that front loaders here in the States differ greatly from European ones, and not in a good way in my opinion! All this eco, water-saving bullshit needs to stop already when it comes to laundry.

Great video and love the wash action. I especially love that it can be set to fill to the top! Clothes need that sometimes. Does the rinse cycle also fill all the way up? or has it been dumbed-down for Energy Star? Would be a shame if it was one of those spray-only rinses.

I believe the Affinitys can be modified. I have a Frig (not that model) and it works/cleans great since I did an adjustment.

Hi Shawn My best friend has a newer Kenmore FL and the pressure switch is not readily visible. I found it directly under one of the metal support strips which run horizontally across the top of the machine under the top panel (visible when removed). Hope this helps.

I have Frigidaire appliances including the FL 2140 set and am very pleased. I would recommend them for the OP's friend. Just because a product is new and expensive (meaning: a piece of gimmicky, overpriced JUNK) does not make it better.

Thanks for sharing the responses. I enjoy hearing stories about how these old machines were sources of entertainment and comfort for many of us when we were younger. Seems like life does come full circle as we still enjoy this sort of thing very much. Am looking forward to getting this washer...
