machines There are many wonderful machines outthere and from what youve described you, in my opinion have four choices 1. Reliability ( work horse) = Miele 2. Front Loader - Bluette

Yellow whites Although I am not quaified to comment greatly on this area I would suggest that you are not washing tem in hot enough ater. Chemicals should be unenesarry especially in a whites wash. Just use plenty detergent and a very hot wash for a long time period.

no heater?? QUestion I did not think that British washers existed without internal water ehaters due to the tendancy to boil wash stuff. Did many machines come without heaters in the UK? How hot would a hot wash be if no heater

    How's this for a BobLoad®?

mixed loads I must condem your mixed load although my understanding may be wrong so please feel free to correct me. A mixed load with towels and jeans to me would have resulted in a 40degree wash or warm water as I don't think jeans could stand any higher water temp. I don't own a pair of jeans...

    New Toy :)

50 cycles Having not ahd a 50 programme on my last machines it is not something that I consider useful. I wash cotton tea shirts or some trousers on a 60degree cycle without a problem. I tend to do jeans on an easy care cycle but everything else always cottons programmes for good long washes.
