Speed Queen AWNE92SP113TW01 hot water inlet filter?

I checked the one at the inlet valve, and it had some sediment on it, but that didn't fix the issue. I then pulled the hose from the washer side and found a second filter caked with mud. A paper towel and some Q tips later, and hot water flows again for me!

Speed Queen AWNE92SP113TW01 hot water inlet filter?

Does the above SQ have a filter for incoming hot water that can get clogged? If so, where is it (Hopefully I could get to it by just taking off the house connection and clean it at the front of the hose)...

    Dishwasher Brand/Model Recommendations?

I personally have really liked the Bosh 800 series dishwasher I got. The V shaped 3rd rack is a revelation and really helps in loading lots more stuff in. Which is important because of the 2hr 9 min cycle time. Not just for entertaining, we also process lots of veggies we grow ourselves, and...

    Freezerless Fridge

@cfz2882 So we had this happen once before when we had the fridge full of stuff - specifically 2 large pizza boxes on the top shelf. Removed them and bam, worked. So initially after throwing out all the spoiled stuff I waited 24 hrs (settings verified to be the same, no switch knocked by food)...

    Freezerless Fridge

Well, my 17 yr old GE fridge finally seems to have taken a dump. Or at least it won't cool the fridge below 42 degrees mostly empty, when full it spoiled a lot of food - hitting 58 degrees before we noticed. Oddly enough, the freezer part is fine. Anyway, we ended up with 2 more freezers, a...

    Continuning Propane Range quandry

After some more research, the oven actually sounds a lot like a much bigger version of my countertop NuWave which is pretty enticing. I'm also looking at the slightly fancier HGIP054UC which includes a more powerful center burner and a meat probe that controls the oven when it reaches a set...

    Internet Warning

No OS is safe unless you know what you're doing, and even then there's plenty of bugs. Heck, the Intel hardware is bugged - look up AMT at some point. That said, there's a few differences. Google Android and Windows (10 anyway) are basically designed to spy on you and report directly to the...

    Continuning Propane Range quandry

So I posted some months ago about perhaps replacing my 18 year old GE range that has started occasionally smelling of propane, that may have a leaking valve that would cost $350 or more to fix. At the time I was leaning towards another on sale GE from Lowes. Well, a couple things happened. 1 -...

    Need a new range

One more question - why do I want the broiler in the oven? All the stoves I've ever had had the broiler in the door under the oven.

    Need a new range

So it sounds like Premier is a bust, and looking online it didn't get good reviews really either. In the GE vs Whirlpool at lowes, I wonder if anyone knows some details: JGBS66REKSS was the model I was looking at from GE. I can't really see what I'm getting in the JGB700EEJES as recommended...

    Need a new range

So my 17 yr old GE that came with the place now has a slow propane leak, and the repair person suggested that it's not really worth repairing. Given that, I'm looking at new propane ranges at 30" size. I'm not really sure if a new GE on sale from Lowes is the right answer or not. They do have a...

    Wallet shopping

BigSkinny wallets are pretty nice if you can get them at a good price --- if you can get them at all, they seem to go out of stock a bit. As to Chinese knock offs, check out aliexpress - it might take a month, but if you've got the app on your phone, the prices plus the random mobile only...

    Dishwasher recommendation

Personally I've had very good luck with the Bosch, as has everyone I know who's gotten one. Granted, I wouldn't go below the 500 series, and since I upgraded to the 800 series a while ago after some rodents decided to eat the 500 series, I've been very happy. It cleans very very well, and the...

    Electric pressure cooker

Kuhn Rikon 5L which I rarely use, a Kuhn Rikon family cooker 12L which I use most of the time for pressure cooking and a 2.5L pressure frying pan that came with the 5L that I never use. I didn't really understand what I'd use when I bought the first small set, and now would pretty much only use...

    Android or Apple IOS

There's no good choice IMHO for smartphones. Android lets you do a lot more and can be cheaper, but you pay in lack of patching, and google spying on everything unless you re-flash the OS and don't run most apps as you can't then use the Play Store (well you can, but now you may have voided the...

Neat, but a little over priced?

I personally love using my NuWave oven when I can't grill sausages outside. Much better than the foreman grill I used to use that would force all the juices out.

Speed Queen FL on the fritz *again*

It's also generally accepted that you'll get far more people to voluntarily talk about things that they had a negative experience or problem with than people who have no problems at all or had a positive experience. Think about it, if everything is working fine, and you're not a fanboy or the...

    ATTN fellow Speed Queen owners:

I got a SQ TL last year to replace my Kenmore, and had to replace the dryer this year. I was far less sure the SQ was the dryer to get, but the appliance dealer when asked said the SQ dryer was also the best to get for decent lifetime. No one else warranties for 5 years. I like gadgets and tech...

    Clean Sweep Arms

Maybe it's changed a lot in water use since my Bosch 800 series I got about 4 years ago, but really the arms are probably the simplest thing in it, and they work amazingly well, including for glasses in the corners. I really had no idea this was a thing, even my first GE from 1999 that sucked...

    Wait, reviewed.com knows us?

I am personally always surprised about how bad the SQ TL cleaning ability is claimed to be. I guess I'm prepared to be blown away by how good a washer is the next one I buy, but since December 2015 when I got the SQ TL, I, and all of my family using it have been really happy with the cleaning...
