Sizing inportant!    The old one was about 115,000 BTU, and this one is at 60k..  40k for 1st stage.    Bigger isn't always better!   I had a Manual J done, and the results came back to about 50k furnace, but 60k  was the only options.

I've been used Norwex Powdered for 3 years, and love it..  It don't have any perfume, and only use 2-3tsp per load.   I use vinegar as my fabric softener, and Oxy along w/ liquid bluing for my whites.

I wonder if they have gotten better??     I recall in the mid 80's, Sears had the stove up for a demo, and when he turned it on, my hearing aids buzzed like crazy!   I had to walk a way... Was worried it was going to break my hearing aids...    

I really do like the new GE design, and if I was to get a new one, I'd give GE a try.   I am happy with my Maytag Gas convection oven so far.

Growing up in the 70's-80's most home in small town Lake City MN, most of them were gas.. Few are electrics. GE was a common brand then since there was only a GE dealer there. I had both gas and electric, I think gas and electric bakes about the same. I much prefer to cook on a gas...

Just brought a case of it today. See how much better this does vs Bubble Bandit. I've been using Bubble Bandit for a year, and overall I've been pleased with it, it's week point is not able to remove starch from pots, and cooked on meat.

I've been using Mrs. Stewarts liquid for the last couple of years, and have no issues with it.. It has made my dispensor a little blue!

I'd suggest Kohler. I visited Kohler 3 years ago, and was really cool seeing this all being made there!

Glad to live where I live! No HOA to worry about, and everyone around here has common sense! The area is kept, and not an eye sore.. A couple of us has clothes lines, and no one is crying about it.

I don't use dryer sheets or fabric softener. I use Norwex laundry detergent, and only use 1tsp per load, and my towels don't smell.

The water heater is up, and I also had the "High Temp Wash" on too.

I figured I'd update on the use of Bubble Bandit dishwasher detergent. The only thing it seems to fail to clean is high starch food. I had a pot and lid that I used for boiling potatoes, and the starch build up around the edge, and on the lid, Bubble Bandit didn't clean it. The first time...

Don't do the 18". They cost more, and very limited on model to buy. My partner's parent had an 18" dishwasher, and they really worked that thing to death, and as Tomturbomatic pointed out, the arms are smaller in these machine. They just re did the kitchen and had a new Maytag 24" installed...
