Use Norwex for all of my laundry wash. I just picked up a package of powered Tide HE for the bed sheets.. I miss the Tide scent, and will be used for my bed sheets only when I hang them on the line.. Really looking forward of using the clothes lines again! May be a couple of months. :-(

Ok, just wanted to make sure you were not turning the temps way down at night and then comes on the AUX heat trying to recover. did they do a Manual-J to get the right size equipment in your home?

Are you using the thermostat to set back the temps at night, and when you are out of the house? Also, as other posted, you've had a colder winter yourself. What model of stat did you get? Does it have an outdoor sensor?

Fan "ON" You can leave the fan on all the time if you wish. A standard PSC fan is going to use a bit more power than a variable speed blower like I do. I run my fan 24/7 in the winter, and all the rooms are with in 1˚ from one another.

Electric rates. Wow, 26¢ a KW!? Yikes! Ours is 9¢, and my parents has a duel fuel set up and they are charged 5¢.
