Mieli use "plastic" outer drums in their full-size washers like most other full-size FLs. Seems the drum is hanged by 4 springs and sits on 2 dampers.

This morning I found Home Depot in Canada selling an compact set of Moffat Washer and Dryer which are made in Slovenia. Are they the re-issued set of old Danby which were sold by Home Depot in several years ago?

My 96 Maytay TL My Maytay TL is LAT9205 bought in Feb 1996 (made in Octo 1995).

I prefer top-load horizntal-axis washer because it could be loaded similar to a TL and its washing technique is same as FL. However since they are not commonly available in NA, then next FLs.

I would prefer if the Mega Meile 27" FL has true H-axis design and stainless steel outer drum like their older 24" versions. It seems that SQ is the only 27" FL with true H-axis design and SS outer drum.

LTZ85 with heater I have owned for nearly one year and our family are happy with this FL when compared with my Maytag DC TL.

Eariler "Homestyle" washers had timer controls My older versoion Huebsch FL (sistor of SQ) has such more flexible timer-control. Heavy -> 15 min wash Normal -> 9 min wash Light -> 7 min wash I prefer this timer-control than the newer control.
