    76’ Dispensall restoration

Nice work, Jon! This was one of the first machines that captivated me when I first discovered this website in 2005. I expect a full video on this machine. I love the dispense-all, great save!

    I needed another dishwasher, right??

I had the same issue with a Whirlpool machine and the thermostat. I ended up setting my meter on continuity, and blowing a hair dryer on the thermostat with a meat thermometer stuck on the stat, I had a few of them and it seems the ones set to 140F usually close contact at 120F or so.

    GE two piece agi

Anyone want a rough shape two piece straight vane agi for a GE FF? Came off a rim flo machine I have. If you pay for shipping its all yours.

    Filter Flo Schematics

Here is the wiring diagram from a 1983 machine, my 1989 is exactly the same diagram minus the extra rinse switch.

    Any Details?

I agree with Pete! The dryer is very A510. The washer? I wonder if its a early series x11 or A282-like machine? A builder model? https://www.automaticwasher.org/cgi-bin/TD/TD-VIEWTHREAD.cgi?6804

Disregard, Robert! Older threads in the search seem to be coming back to life. Thanks though!

PLEASE Read... I'm About to Move AW from http to secure https!

Not sure if its related or not but the older, searchable threads seem to be having a hard time loading pictures, specifically brochure scans.

    Any Details?

Without looking at my brochures saved on my computer, I cant tell you WHICH model they are, but they look from the x10 series which is about 1979/80-ish to around 1985. The washer I think is a Fabric-matic single speed, not sure capacity, and the dryer looks more TOL to me. These should be...

    Is she a keeper?

Ive never found the point voyager machines to ignite the soul or anything, but in my experience they wash well and have the typical Whirlpool cavernous capacity.

    Filter Flo Schematics

Can you post a picture of the machine? Specifically the timer?   Most Canadian machines Ive come across all have the same timer, and I have two wiring diagrams I can scan when I get home for you if the timer you have is the one I am thinking of.

    What was the best...

I have a Maytag WU904, reverse rack, that is probably my favorite next to the KDS-21. The RR is insane, cleans extremely well, and has capacity like no other. The machine is a complete animal.

Picked up this Maytag for free

Doug, the Atlantis agitators had a bolt that went through the centre of the agitator, its not like the helical drive machines with the set screw on the agi base. It wont fit.    My parents had one of these machines, a near TOL machine. Great performer and great capacity.

Maytag A312 - When was it made?

I have the TOL model of this machine, the 712, and its companion dryer. These are excellent machines.

    lip seal

By lip seal you mean tub seal?   The tub may not be centered properly and is scraping up against the outer tub. Is it a scraping sound?

Single Hose Portable AC's - Why are they even allowed?

I insulate the hose on the single hose machine I have now. Its a warm hose, and I dont want the machine working against itself.

    D&M "Genius" Fan Drying System

I picked up an early 90s Frigidaire labeled D&M dishwasher for "fun". Its more on the higher end of the MOL spectrum, I feel like its about one from the top when I look at comparable American machines and brochures.   A quick look underneath led me to see one very, very interesting thing. The...
