well this Hotpoint/Creda hybrid design were exclusives to Comet sold around 1997/98, I think there were 2 or 3 washing machines, a washer dryer and a tumble dryer but they are quite rare models, but as it's a Hotpoint of course there's no shortage of parts for them :)

the Date Code dates this to October 1996 and production continued until around 1999 when a Fagor/Brandt produced model replaced it :)

that's a SanGiorgio made Blomberg, only sold through Comet, I must say, I haven't seen many of them myself :)

I can help you out very easily on this as I know loads about the Next Generation lineage, I don't know much about the exclusives but definitely the main models so the spreadsheets will be filled out in no time at all :)

chestermikeuk the answer is yes, there's a picture of me as a baby in a high chair with a 1980-82 Electronic model in the background, it would be replaced with my childhood Electra in mid-1990 :)

well I know Kenwood dryers are made by White Knight which means decent, well built dryers that do the job, only drawback is that they don't have a window in the door but a larger opening compensates for this, I'm sure she won't be disappointed with it. :)

couldn't agree more lavamat_jon, people still assume all BSH appliances are made in Germany but just the higher end models are made there now. We get models made in Spain, Poland, Turkey & China but at least the packaging says it's country of manufacture, perhaps that's why henene4's Siemens...

the 1st dishwasher we had was a Hoover CrystalJet D820 from May 2000-September 2008, it was reliable but it wasn't exactly the best @ cleaning though, should of had a Zanussi with it's nice sounding timer and pump lol. :)
