    My Miele W 459

Great machine here, just a pity you can't see the load going round in it lol. Still, the automatic fabric conditioner dispenser is a nice touch. Enjoy many loads with it!

Just for information - Bosch dryer fails aftter 13 months

Bosch tumble dryer failing after 13 months? That's terrible. Something isn't right as far as the quality is concerned. It seems that there might be some cost-cutting going on. Even older models are still going as we speak but this is awful news especially for the company. Shame on you Bosch!

    A rare Hotpoint on eBay

Interesting model, I've never seen this 1 before lol.

    ZEROWATT

Those Zerowatt washing machines are interesting, I'm surprised that they offer 6 and 7KG capacities many years before they became commonplace lol. I quite like them, the panel behind the dials on some models is a nice touch lol. I like to see more pics and info of the models from previous...

    Uk only... Bush Washing?????

The Bush/Haus washing machines are essentially a continuation of the Haier/HEC models. Although they are good value but personally I wouldn't get 1 lol. Obviously due to it's inferior quality and questionable reliability.

    A favorite lost: Wendy Richard

Can't believe a great British talent has gone. I liked her especially as Miss. Brahms in Are You Being Served? She was great in it and was very funny. More recently, I liked her in the Post Office ads as the "Human Cannonball" and that too was superb. R.I.P Wendy Richard 1943-2009

    Center Dial Indesits

The new Indesits look nice but I've never seen them with a centre-dial before lol. The dial is usually on the right with the current models. I just hope the quality has improved and the reliability flaws have been ironed out, that way it can be a much better machine lol. I wonder if the new...

    Hotpoint aqualtis dryers

The Aqualtis tumble dryer looks great and it's about time that it became part of the range lol. I've been anticipating it for ages before it even came, my Uncle who works in an Euronics had told me about it as well as a few rumours on here on it. But still, it's fantastic. I'd be happy to...

    ANTI-clockwise spinning 95series hotpoint!!

Well, I'd never thought I'd see anti-clockwise spin in a old Hotpoint lol. Nice machine of course, but it's just a bit odd seeing it spin the other way round. I don't know what the Indesit Comapny is playing at lol.

    New Ariel Excel Gel

Sounds fair enough that a non-bio version probably wouldn't work as well. It's best to stick with a bio format for this lol.

    New Ariel Excel Gel

Great website for it, makes me want to get some even more! But where's the non-bio version of it lol.

    New Ariel Excel Gel

I do like the design of the bottles, it's just like a shower gel bottle lol. But hopefully it won't produce shower gel levels of suds! Still, I think it's a great concept and one that will go down well.

    New Ariel Excel Gel

Sounds interesting, a new detergent designed for eco (cold) washing. I might get some when I go shopping with my mum next and see what it's like lol. But I'm sure it will be good.

V-Zug Laundry Appliances now in UK...!!!!!!

Wow! It's an absolute beauty of a machine, it's certainly very smart and expensive lol. I love the drum on the 8KG models. Imposing is the best way to put it, especially with those big paddles and a zillion or so drum holes! I'm glad that they've finally come to our shores and that one day...

    Dishwasher detergents: poor performance

I really don't believe in poor performance from dishwasher detergents, I always find that they clean well, no matter what I'm using. I know the Finish 1's work the best and the Fairy is just as good too. As for own brands, they don't perform too badly either. But that's just my experience of...

Out with a Whirlpool, in with a Zanussi Jetsystem

Yes, it's a really nice machine here, I hope it lasts for many years to come. I just like how silent it is, it's kinda like a similar AEG with the same amount of features lol. But I do wish Zanussi would go back to the innovative and classy era of the 80's and 90's. The Zanussi brand doesn't...

March 1982 was good for MATCHED HOTPOINTS!

What a lovely duo these Hotpoint's are, they almost look like new lol. Considering they're the same age as Channel 4 and Countdown (Nov 1982) My Auntie had the 4 button version of this machine with 1000RPM spin, but I used to be a bit scared of it, especially when it went into spin. But...

Help me to become more Eco Friendly

Interesting thread here, it's funny how different machines operate and how they use varying amounts of water and energy lol. Maybe 1 day all machines will have an Eco-Meter to show you how energy efficent they're being, the only machine that has it so far is the Hotpoint Aqualtis. The other...

Out with a Whirlpool, in with a Zanussi Jetsystem

I'd quite like to have a new Zanussi myself but it's the baby of the family, the ZWC1300. I'd have it as a courtesy machine to the Miele when it's not being used but sadly my mum won't let me have it lol. Btw, I like the vid of the Zanussi, it's so quiet. Almost as quiet as my Miele lol.

Out with a Whirlpool, in with a Zanussi Jetsystem

Congratulations on your new Zanussi and may I say it looks very nice. I like the fact that it has the Jetsystem and also that it has plenty of programmes and features, just what 1 needs in this modern day and age lol.
