Cycles other than the normal cycle are included in the energy and water scores, weighted according to their expected percentage of use. If only the normal cycle was included, then the other cycles would be a free-for-all and there'd be nothing to complain about, right?

Breadmaker I used to make bread in large batches by hand. After waffling about it for a long time, finally got a Zojirushi Home Bakery Virtuoso. Does as good a job as I did, with far less work. And I feel more free to experiment since it only affects one loaf.

Lint While ferreting out cheap clothes a TL probably can't help breaking some small fibers in good clothes. That would explain the observation that clothes washed in an FL leave less lint on the dryer screen.

This is in my basement. Runs but doesn't get cold. Free, but requires professional skill and equipment to remove safely, due to stairs, and tight alcove at top of stairs.

Temperature 3/4 of the temperature knob scale consists of less-than-warm settings, i.e. variants on a cold wash, ugh.

Asko washer plug The plug on my current-model Asko was a standard NEMA 6-20P. Someone on gardenweb posted a picture of their older Asko's plug and it was the same thing. Don't need an Asko dryer to plug it into, just a NEMA 6-20R outlet.
