Spanish Rice! I can remember the taste of the "Spanish Rice" that was made at the elementary school I attended. Never had it since but I will never forget it. Loved it!

FrogKid I have had appliances shipped from CA to SC. I used "UShip" and paid about $500.00 to ship across country. Has worked well for me. You just have to be flexible in order to meet the shipper when he/she arrives.

"Frigidaire" I have had the same set as Yogitunes endorses for almost 15 years. Never a problem. Works well. I would like to keep this set for the remainder of my time on earth. Guess I better start looking for spare parts in case it ever breaks down!

Compact 30 I had a white Compact 30 in the first house I ever purchased. It had the self-cleaning oven and I loved it! The best stove I ever had. I have missed it ever since I sold that house. Should have taken it with me. As a matter of fact, if anyone knows of a white, Self-Cleaning...

W.A. Wizard I will never understand the indexing tub and the "wings" at the top of the agitator. Seems to me like the "wings" would inhibit turnover.

On Another Note Your thread has finally verified something I have always wondered about. When I was a young boy my parents had a "Bradford" clothes dryer. I have always wanted to know where "Bradford" came from. I had never heard of the brand nor had I ever seen another appliance with that...

Oh God I would kill/pay to find that washer with that agitator and that lint filter. I could then happily die and go to heaven! It would be a dream come true.

Stove The stove would be a good one to salvage parts from, particularly if the clock works.
