    My first vintage set.

Well sort of but I do think they're from the 80's. I love the set I paid a fair price for them and they are in great condition. My only concern is the dryer. It takes quite a while to dry a normal sized load. Usually over 60 minutes. I've cleaned out the lint not that there was much. The heating...

Speed Queen AWN542 Water Height, Adjust with clothes or empty?

GusHerb Beautiful machine! I noticed that although on the Heavy Duty cycle light soil, the first spin was at low speed and the final spin at the full 710 rpm's. Does it depend on the soil level you select that will determine the speed of the first spin? Would Heavy Duty + medium or heavy soil...

    Laundry Stain Removers

I use the Resolve Stain Stick formerly known as Spray and Wash stain stick. It works great. You can treat it when it happens or days later. It's gotten all my stains out.

How to bring back dingy whites?

Try using White King water softener with your detergent and bleach with hot water. That stuff helped bring my whites back very nicely. You'll notice a slight change after one wash and a continued improvement after a couple of launderings. I love the stuff.

Such a beautiful machine! I would love to try using one sometime. I'm curious as to how the washing results are with just the one direction of wash tumble.

Cleaning Soiled Diapers in a SQ Front Loader

I would try Wisk. They make a Free & Pure version of it. I havent used that version, but Wisk has gotten out a lot of stains in my clothes. I love it. It really gets odors out too.

Somebody got a new 2015 Speed Queen topload set!!!

As cool as this is that they gave her a new set, why would she want to give up her old one with it being as good of condition it's in and that it's still running good?

Washing your kids at the laundromat....

I do hope the girl is ok. But I bet the parents who weren't watching her will have the nerve to sue that laundromat. A few weeks ago at a laundromat I go to, a woman was there with her 2 daughters probably around 8 years old. And they were running all over the place and there were a lot of...

    Frigidaire's have new home

Jeff Lol thanks. I grew up around those cars as well as it's cousin, the Ford LTD Landau. We had a 77. Beautiful cars you have! Does the Mercury have the big 460 C.I.D. V-8? Our LTD had that engine. Loved the power that car had.

Phil! I love Uncle Buck! One of my all time favorite John Candy movies and I loved his car! When I saw the car behind the Frigidaires, the first thought that came to mind was the Mercury. It's gotta be.
