LG is finally making "agitator" top loaders!

I didn't see in the photos and the product description if the agitator is a two piece.

    Maytag A806 Tune Up

Adhesive Removal I always just use Acetone and a little bit of elbow grease.

Mea Culpa: I feel like a fool. New LG washer saga (cont.)

Cross threading is so easy to do!  I've certainly done that.

    IFA 2020

I'm a little confused by the description (or maybe I did understand it).  Can the washer unit be used again while the previous load is drying?  The reason I ask is because it says the timer displays the total time for BOTH washing and drying (unless I misunderstood).

    Dressing up your washer

My Mom used to wear night gowns like that back in the 60s!

    Maytag Washer LAT9200BAM

Congratulations on the new acquisition!  The answer to your question is yes...with that model washer, you'll need a new control panel AND timer if you want to upgrade to a two speed motor.  You'll also need to rig a wiring harness to accommodate the two speed motor to its new timer.

So much for my new LG washer p.o.s.

LG Service When I purchased my LG 3900 pair the top panels were dented in shipping, along with the front panel on the washer.  One phone call to Appliances Connection and LG was right on it.  All parts were in stock and they were replaced by a local technician the next week.  LG also contacted...

    Maytag Reverse Rack Dishwasher

That's a great dishwasher, although it is loud compared to today's models.  It has a really intense spray that can be heard when running!

    LG Dryer air flow error

I have an LG 3900 dryer that's only been in service for about six weeks.  I haven't encountered that problem yet.  Hope someone else will chime in!

I like my new LG 3700 so much

I'm glad you're having a good experience with your LG...I purchased a 3900 pair about a month ago.  So far, I'm really impressed.  I only wish the dryer had a longer cool down at the end of cycle.

Kitchen-Aid, Breville or wait for the next Food processor?

I have a Breville food processor and have been very pleased with it.  I've never made pasta but I make pie crust and bread dough in it often and it has been a solid performer.

Dryers sold in Detroit in 1960

I wonder if electric service companies in other states were doing that.  When I was a kid, our house had to be wired for 220 when my Mom got our first dryer; however, gas was available where it sat in the garage.

I wish I could help you, but I know someone on here can answer your question!

Anyone use ECO cycle on SQ series 8/9?

When I had my Speed Queen, I only used it to wash one or two light weight items...but that wasn't often.

Early 60s Whirlpool Dryer -- Free!

Ruidoso is a mountain resort town, so this dryer could have been in someone's vacation home and used only a few weeks out of the year.  Just guessing! https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/308145813671031/

    Gas or electric dryer?

For some reason "Total Electric" homes were all the rage in the 70s and 80s here in Texas, where natural gas is so plentiful.  That's why I'm reluctant to buy a gas dryer.  I move with my job more than most people do.  Electricity is always available but gas isn't.

    New LG Front Load Washers

I purchased an LG 3900 pair about a month ago and I've been very pleased.  It is the first front load washer I've owned and they've been excellent performers.
