Miele T8966WP Heat Pump dryer or Bosch WTP86560?

Check out the running cost 1st I looked at a Miele heat pump dryer and looking at the savings in running cost here in the UK it would have to last longer than the average 25 years for a Miele machine to pay for its self, I cant comment on Bosch as I'm not a big fan

Here We Go Again Folks! Miele Needs New Brushes

Miele UK My Dear Launderess I have to say that you get the same response from Miele in the UK. Just double up on what you think it could cost and add £100.00 for the call out. I had 2 little things in the dryer last year that sense how long the load will take to dry and they cost £275.00

    Electric Steamers/Steaming Food

Steaming Foods Hi It seemed like a good plan when we had a built in steam oven fitted but in reality we never use it, it take far to long to clean. Just use a stove top steamer that you can put in the DW after use. The only time its ever used now is if I'm cooking for a big party

And Now For Something Completely Different - Miele Twin Tub

Spin Speed The water removed by a spin dryer may not look like a lot, but it makes drying times much shorter + shirts bedding ect do not need any further drying, most things being ready for ironing. My Miele washer spins at 1600 but using a spinner cuts my drying costs down by a lot given the...

And Now For Something Completely Different - Miele Twin Tub

Main Point One main point of these machines was that they vibrated a lot less than a FL and could therefore be use in an apartment building with wooden flooring, I lived in a very old house in the 70s if you used a FL on the 1st floor it would shake the walls.

Today's Topic: Boot Or No Boot?

No Boot I have only ever had one machine without a boot and that was an AEG many years ago and it was fantastic. wish they still made something like it now. One thing that I'm confused about is the H Axis machines v FL my understanding has always been that an H- eaxis is a top loader with a...

Front loader with COLD and HOT fill

Cold fill works better Most top end machines in the UK are could fill only, as you rightly say warm water only sets the stain is one point the other is unless the machine is next to the hot tank by the time the hot water gets to the machine its could anyway so its just displaced hot water in...

    Soak Cycles

Soak or PreWash UK My Miele has the option of a soak or prewash you can set a soak time from set for 30 minutes to 6 hours. I use a 30 min soak with a very gentle action wash for shirts and bedding using a non bio detergent, with water+ and extra rinse selected. This always give a prefect wash...
