    Prayers, Chants and Incantations needed!

Got my parts from Sears and am now trying to put my Hettie back together. Trouble is, it's been nearly two weeks since I took it all apart. Things are not going well-Uncle David is using BAD LANGUAGE! Dennis is smart-he helps by staying out of my way. He says he knows I will get it back...

    What Is It?

The more important question is... What are you going to DO with it Robert? Will this soon be a part of your Super-Unimatic? I'm excited already!

    What Is It?

I knew right away as the flowmeter for my Hettie has been sitting out in the open all week-but Greg beat me to it! Got my warranty parts from Sears yesterday afternoon, so will be able to put the darned thing back together this weekend.

    HE3t teardown...My misery-Your entertainment

Finally-Some Satisfaction! So Dennis and I are sitting 'round the house this (saturday) afternoon and the phone rings. It's Sears calling to see if they can come out today instead of Tuesday. Well yah sure you betcha I say! So the tech come over and I show him my now disassembled machine...

Tucson's Greenmore Question (pump pully size)

Back when I WAS a partscounterman (really should change my "handle") the pumps for the whirlpool belt drive machines would come with an extra pulley for the "skinny-belt" machines.

    North American Hoover Automatics?

Hoover Automatics Hoover marketed a set of rebadged Blackstones in the very early seventies. They were on the market for about 15 minutes.

    My Frigidaire Modification!

lombardian Your Kitchenaid is just like my HE3t-Take a look at the first picture in my thread about the HE3t teardown. If you look at the first picture, the pressure switch is just under the main top, to the right hand side. This pressure switch looks MUCH more complicated than the ones I've...

    Question About Cruises

The cruise ship in our harbor right now is a gay cruise-imagine 2300 gay men on the same ship. Hmmm... The thing I would not like is this- The cruise ship docks here at Kahului harbor. The port is NOT lovely. The cruisers have to walk about a mile through the asshole of Maui to get to see...

    Laundry Queen

I wish the baby and the gramma would MOVE the box of Tide so we can see the agitators!

    HE3t teardown...My misery-Your entertainment

Update- So i did get around to taking Greg's advice. I remembered to grab my 15/16" socket from my work truck (that's the one I use to adjust the grind on certain Bunn coffee grinders). Didn't want to get the nut all gnarly from my channel locks. So I went and I tightened. And tightened. Rested...

    Happy Birthday Venus / Retromom

Happy Birthday Venus Many happy returns! Umm, can I have a piece of that candy? ; ) Is Austin gonna buy you a plane ticket to Maui for your birthday? That would be a gift for both of us! David

    H E L P !!!!!!!!

My partner Dennis smoked tobacco before he met me. His brother dared him to quit. What he found helpful was to put some butts and ash in a small jar with a little water. Every time he had the urge to smoke, he would open the jar and take a whiff of that. Yuck-that's what tobacco smokers smell...

    Westinghouse Top Loader in Philly--$40

Thanks Jetcone! Now I know I am not the only person who lives under a rock. I had to ask Veg when he was here who the heck is the woman on every f!@#ing box of crackers at the supermarket (Rachel Ray). And no. I didn't know who Dannylynn is either

    HE3t teardown...My misery-Your entertainment

Greg-No I have not tried that yet...I will try that later today. Steve-Yes, it is funny how they do so well, in spite of themselves. I really cannot believe how they treat people once they have the money. Here we do not have a great deal of choice in appliance dealers. We have Sears, Home...

    HE3t teardown...My misery-Your entertainment

I have no intention of taking NO for an answer. Of course I should have known that Sears would do ANYTHING to get out of thier warranty obligation. I agree with Veg that the water on stone method may be the way. However I am NOT going to bitchslap any of the salespeople-I used to work there...

    HE3t teardown...My misery-Your entertainment

I knew this wouldn't be easy.... So I decide I am not putting this back together with only one new part-I really want a NEW bearing as well as a basket. So I call Sears hellish 1-800-Fuk-my-Home. I tell the little bimbo there that I need these new parts and that my owners manual states that...

    HE3t teardown...My misery-Your entertainment

Yes Richard this is the same as the Duet and the Dreamspace. Other than this (major problem) it has been a good machine and I would be spoiled to go back to a machine that spins at a pathetic 600 rpm. I need to get on the phone with Sears as the main tub has a twenty year warranty (which...
