Lighted control panels....
....are my absolute favorites in any model/brand.
So nice.
Phil - thanks for your effort in continuing to find treasures!

Fantastic
Phenominal acquisition. Not one, but two great machines.
Very happy for you. I love my Kenmore with a roto flex and every Maytag that lights up!
Congratulations,
John
Possibly....
....a Conn, Baldwin, Thomas or another maker having the slanted positioning of tabs/stops with ornate trims (gold border as seen in photo).
Additionally interesting to me is the stock pot on the stove top, appears to be a cast aluminum - possibly Magnalite or another...
Ask....
....and it shall be given!
Took some time to locate, knew I'd seen one, couldn't remember, but here you go. Maybe too far?
Also, sorry, but as this has turned into posting an appliance for sale, probably needs to go to Shoppers Square...
Super find
Congratulations! They look to be in excellent condition.
I had the same dryer but in gas and similar washer for years. Dried well, quietly and did not "ball up" linens nearly as often as others I've used. Especially liked the soak cycle that preceeded the wash cycle - very...
@ Todd - thanks - hoping to get installed and pics up soon. Wishing you the best and looking forward to pics of your newly acquired collection.
@ Launderess - thanks - "with even clapped out heaps of rust wanting" - as only you could put it! You have such a way with words - I love it!

John - yes the styling is a classic. Thanks
Mike - sounds...
Rules....
....were meant to be broken. And in this case, broken x2!
Congratulations on an incredible pair, and in YELLOW, yes.
Very happy for you.
John
Thanks Everyone
The kindness and congratulations of everyone is appreciated.
You guys are the greatest. The information, encouragement, and knowledge shared on this forum are priceless. I remember feeling like so many others have said, thinking no one else had a similar interest in "old...
If I only had time....
I would leave right now and go back to DesMoines for the sale that starts today at noon. The wringer washer was in pristine condition but high ($395), I saw 2 Amana RR Microwaves ($15 each), vintage percolators that looked to have not been used, Corning Ware up the...
Thanks
...for the positive feedback and comments from all. Greatly appreciate the kind words and agreed with all comments. Have always favored appliances that light up, so glad to have found them - and yes Greg - you're welcomed here and I'm looking forward to seeing your collection again...
Also has...
....a Maytag Wringer (round tub, sounds like gravity drain) for another $395 he described to be VGC. I thought the price to be rather high, but told him I've got several, wasn't looking for another. Anyone interested could contact him.
Ben - thanks.
