My buddy Rich (Golittlesport) contacted me Friday evening, saying a friend of his has some machines he wants to find a home for. This peaked my interest and I went over this morning to take a look.

They were in the back of the garage pretty much buried with so much stuff that I could only see part of the washer at first. Once we moved the boxes and other stuff out of the way, there she was, WOW!

Even though I have closed the door on collecting (anything new) I've always likes this design. Plus this was like seeing a couple cute little puppies sitting in the corner, looking at me with those puppy dog eyes... and I'm a total sucker for puppy dog eyes! I mean how could I NOT take them home, right??

With a few scratches here, a couple dents there, they are not perfect, but pretty nice overall. He told me the washer leaks when it's spins (drains) but he wasn't sure of the exact cause. I took a quick look up underneath as we loaded it and it looks pretty darn clean. Also it's interesting the washer doesn't seem to have a serial number? (pic 4)

He gave me a LOT of extra stuff too, I was quite surprised. TechTalk manuals, extra bellows, light bulbs, new supply and drain hoses (2), a new power cord for the dryer and even a pair of new appliance covers!

Thank you Gary... and thanks so much for thinking of me Richie!

These 1965 models are amazing!! Definitely low mileage looks like. What's the story? And oh, btw, glad you broke hour "rule". I've seen this pair in real life in turquoise and white. First time for this color. Always assumed the control panel accent was the same color for any cabinet color as what I saw on the white and turquoise. Such class and style.
