hi, as some of you know i have a Tricity Bendix AW1053W, and i was wondering recently, ive seen a CAW1000 model which looks very similar to it but wondered 1) is the CAW1000 a prototype to the AW1053W 2) when was the CAW1000 made 3) what are the major differences if any? cheers, phil

Elecrolux its great to see Elecrolux are finally making freestanding washers again!, the touchscreen models look really nice, wasn't too keen on the look of the more basic models though, they look a tiny bit on the cheap side, but that's just my opinion, looking forward to finding out more!

all, i noticed while searching hotpoint 95's and 93's that the dryers seemed to have 4 paddles? never noticed this before, is this true? if so can someone get a shot of a 93's drum cos id love to see it clearly, thanks phil

low/high speed ok ive tried that test, it seems to do one speed, what shall i do, replace the switch?

maybe the switch is bad or the low speed windings of the mot how can i find out what it is of the two possibiities then?

low/high speed never knew there were 2 speeds on it, is the legend II the only model to have that feature or are there other models?

switch well ive tried using the one off my heritage I and that does the same thing, so im really not sure, but as i said every other attachment seems to work ok, the switch isnt broken either

ok so ive just refitted a new fan to a kirby legend II which hasnt been used for at least 16 years, it works absolutely fine with the smaller attachments but when i try to use the main brush roll, it does not engage the motor, it lights up but nothing happens, can someone help?

the hotpoint 9534 has started making alot of odd noises lately, at the start of any wash cycle for a few minutes i can hear squeaking from the machine when turning, also on spins there is a tapping sound but its not because of an unbalance, the shock absorbers are ok too, bearings seem in good...
