Any suggestions as to what course of action would be best to achieve such a result? It doesn't really have to be so much strong smelling as long lasting. Putting some sort of perfume oil on a dryer sheet?
Our local small town laundromat uses Maytags. My wife is in charge of personnel where she works so she launders the uniforms there as we won't run them in our own machines.
The FLs are constantly leaking and the dryers sound like jet engines. We always have to step over a puddle or two coming...
Our local Sears stocks these (not sure why it's more a suburban store where most people have full width normal diswashers), they're pretty darn narrow. If I remember I'll take a picture of one up close next time I'm there.
Saw somewhere in a press release quite a while ago that they were aiming for 600-700 stores in core markets to serve as hubs for online orders. I'm sure that was planned well in advance. I wouldn't be surprised if nearly all Kmart stores are closed first.
The top store in our market is loaded...
I'm friends with a guy in Sears Appliances dept. and said they'd be there but my wife and I caught a stomach flu so I haven't had a chance to go see them yet. They had another new model before we got sick and it seemed awfully tinny, Having some appliance repair experience I'm curious to see...
My VRT Addwash seems like it is vibration proof, even with a down comforter. I paid next to nothing for it, don't care at all, but if people want a video or two I don't mind. It is extremely boring.
Had this happen to my less than 4 year old Haier
The machine was only $200 I got it from a local liquidator that gets stuff that's scratched and such from other local dealers. This one had a minor dent in the lid nothing that would physically harm it in any way. It was used as a secondary...
It's really not about cost of the dryer, it's about my basement configuration. I'd basically have to run gas pipe and run an electrical line because the second dryer has to be on a different wall and some distance down due to the location of my stationary tub and that part of the basement is up...
Tough one, where do I go here.
Dryer was purchased in Sept. 2009 and used until approx June 2009. I had somewhat outdated electrical service so I hooked up central air and the dryer sat unused until probably May 2016.
I used a gas dryer the entire time, in May last year I got an electrical...
I just can't believe how light it is for trying to do more. The lid part probably being mostly plastic vs the top metal lid probably saves a few pounds. The drums would have to be on the thinner side I'd imagine. You've gotta factor the motor weight even if it uses their direct drive motor.
I...
I'm at the older end of the millennial generation and I'm not here to get into arguments.
What I can say is Samsungs are simply over engineered products for what they are. They invest time and energy building flashy looking appliances which in theory would work well but the build quality does...
Weighs 20lbs less than the 5 cubic foot Addwash and that's assuming 218lbs isn't the shipping weight and is the actual weight of the unit if thats the shipping weight they really shaved some weight off the unit.
I will concur, check the belt. My parents have an old Amana based on the current design from when Raytheon made them which was insanely expensive new but I convinced them to buy back in the day.
They beat the heck out of it when my sister and I lived there. My wife and I lived there for about a...
I'd personally suggest buying the Antenna Direct XG91. It's a super long range UHF Yagi.
I don't need an antenna first and foremost. I have cable. I use a siding mounted pole mount and have this thing on my garage. I use a Channel Master amp on it.
My primary reason for buying it was to watch...
I've got no issues with my electronic control top loader, my mother has the old Amana based on the design it's 16 years old or so at this point and works fine.
I used to work part time for a liquidator fixing various electronic stuff. Samsung TVs were the same way, you almost had to wait until they parted out on eBay. Usually it was always the same problems the ICs on the main boards, LCD inverters or drivers, would go and you'd basically have to wait...
I've been buying up good vintage stuff at thrift stores when I see it and had good luck. Lustre Craft, Health Craft, Royal Prestige, Vollrath Vacuumatic, Prudential ware, etc. I did find two more recent Sitram commercial pans which are quite nice.
