I was finally able to get a Frigidaire WO-65-2 last year. I am very happy with it so far. However, I am now in search of a dryer to match it. If anyone comes across a dryer in the PA, NY, or OH area please leave me know.
I have been going to estate sales and checking online but I might miss...
How can I tell if the valve was not replaced some time ago? The water seems to fill the tub very quickly. I would also like to know what the default rinse temperature was.
How would I go about taking apart the valve to try to fix it?
I recently put my wo-65-2 into service. It will only fill with hot water even when it is set on warm. I am not sure what is wrong. No cold is entering at all.
I got the pulsator out an did a trial run. I decided that the tub is in pretty good shape.
I am however having a slight problem though. When I connected it to the water. It will only fill with hot water. No cold at all will enter on hot or warm.
I am putting this washer in my basement to do laundry with. I would really like to know what to do about the rust because I do not want it to get all over my clothes. Also I want to stop any possible rust that could create a hole in the tub.
Thanks,
Jesse
I am working on my Frigidaire unimatic wo-65-2 and I was wondering how to get the pulsator out of the machine.
Also the tub has some surface rust on the inside and I was wondering what I could do about it because I am not crazy about leaving my clothes rub against rust.
I am looking for a Whirlpool washer with the sirgilator agitator and the magic brush filter.
If anyone has one that they are willing to part with please send me an email
Thanks,
Jesse
I know that the filter would not get all of it, but I am used to having a filter to clean and I would really like to have the brush filter, as that is what I remember from the first 7 years of doing laundry with my grandma.
That one looks like it but I really need one with the filter because I have a lot of dog hair and lint to deal with.
Most of my laundry dries outside on the line.
What I am looking for is an older whirlpool washer with the brush filter. I just mean that I am looking for an older whirlpool with that filter and simpler controls like this one has.
I know that this is an old post and this machine has long been claimed.
I was just wondering if anyone knows where I could get one of these for my collection. My grandma had this exact machine in avacado. I would like to find one in working condition near me.
Thanks in advance,
Jesse
It is the 1954 WO-65-2
I am not sure exactly where it is leaking because I have not had tome to get around to checking yet. I was told that it is leaking down the side of the motor.
Thanks,
Jesse
I am glad to say that I finally got myself a Frigidaire unimatic washer.
I bought it knowing that it had an issue. It is supposed to be leaking around the motor. I am kinda thinking that it might be the bellows but I am not sure. I need detailed directions of how to take the tub out and...
I would defiantly be interested in the washer. If there is any way you could send me some pictures of the machine, controls, and inside that would be great. Please send them to my email, [email protected]. Also how much do you want for it?
