I agree with Ben about pet hair and the brush filter.
With a dog the size of our Canyon, there's lots of hair to remove from everything we wash and the '66 Inglis filter doesn't quite get it all. So far the best dog hair removal has been with the '59 Frigidaire using a warm overflow rinse.
I know that the filter would not get all of it, but I am used to having a filter to clean and I would really like to have the brush filter, as that is what I remember from the first 7 years of doing laundry with my grandma.
i remember the brush lint filter as well the family washer my mom purchuse when she was pregnant with me had the brush lint filter so did my grandmother inglis liberator push to start pull to start washer
