    New find at BHF Huddersfield

Sorry to be blunt, but are you thick? RE-READ WHAT HE WROTE He did NOT buy the machine... He is simply informing other website users of a potential opportunity. Richard: I love those machines, however I find BHF pricing to be outrageously high!

    Whirlpool Aqua Line AWM1866

Hey, have recently picked up a 'new' machine, it being a Whirlpool AWM1866. Seems a very sturdy machine, however is starting to show it's age. Bit of rust along the bottom, kick plinth missing, and it will only fill and pump out if the extra rinse button is pressed? (Think its been taken apart...

    Sears Detergent

PaulC Yeah, I'm seriously going to have to consider getting rid of the Punto. I've seen an S reg 1.2 16v Corsa with only 60,000miles on it for £600, so giving that some serious thought! :-D I agree with your comment regarding waiting for someone else to try it before taking the plunge. I...

    Sears Detergent

PaulC Alas, I'm only driving a pathetically slow 60bhp 1.2 8v Fiat Punto, I am however only 19 with a measly 1yr no claims, so my insurance is high! lol. Looking into something cheaper to insure because the Punto seems expensive to insure for what it is! A 1.4 16v Corsa is actually cheaper to...

    Sears Detergent

Very true, and car insurance (mega ouch to me! £148 a month! lol) ... I know what you mean about it being a lot of dosh to spend on something you may not like. Caught between a rock and a hard place really!

    Sears Detergent

Just checked on the larger 275 wash box, and the shipping cost stays the same just the duty and VAT rises to around £3.49. Not bad pricing, may be tempted when my bank balance re-settles after the car insurance payment lol.

    Sears Detergent

Just had a quick look on the sears site, and the shipping is £12.91 plus £2.07 Duty+VAT. Total is £27.37. Seems pricey initially, however you do get 125 loads, and it does seem to be very good value for what your getting.

    Wash Times

Richard is correct, Miele actually introduced the extra rinse on cooler washes because they had the theory that if a lower temperature was selected, more detergent would have to be used to obtain a similar result to that of a higher temp cycle. Nowadays with all this sensor rinse malarky, i'm...

To knock a big scary hole or to condense?

As Darren said, the perfect chance for a new toy, however... I would stick with a vented tumble dryer, drilling the hole isn't that much of a hassle or expensive.. If you have a friend in the plumbing/building/electrician trade, then they may well have a hole cutter that you could borrow, or ask...

    Appliance Problems

In all honesty, most Elux made stuff is pretty dependable it seems. I know people with Elux made products which perform well and have been reliable, although from what Ive seen and been told, the quality and performance of new Indesit/Hotpoint products is on the up and is getting a lot better...

Comfort Softener thoughts from UK guys

Loving the new machine Rob :-D I'm surprised no one has commented on it yet!! I have been waiting in anticipation for your 'grand reveal' from a previous post stating that your arch enemy had died lol! On the softener subject, the only comfort softeners I will use now are the exhilirations...
