I was super hungy today and i thought i would make cheese on toast but i forgot to toast the bread and i ended up making a cheese crip bread with lea and prerns splashed over it. It realy filling, but it is a little spicy so have water handy LOL

Cheese on toast? As in just one piece of bread with a slice of cheese. A unique little snack. Here in the states we take 2 slices of bread and some cheese. Butter the outsides and put it on a griddle. That's good ol grilled cheese. Lol

i was busy LOL
i forgot to toast the bread so when it was finished microwaving i used a palat knife to pry it off my plate! it was like a ryvita crisp bread but microwaved LOL

My recipe for cheese on toast, the only way IMO to make it and get it perfect.

toast 2 slices of bread under the grill, both sides or just 1 if like me you prefer a softer snack.

On the untoasted side or 1 toasted side place slices of mature cheddar cheese. Sprinkle with L&P and place back under the hot grill to melt. Serve and Enjoy on hot plates.

i dont use the oven grill because i dont trust myself with it.
my microwave has a grill so thats ok

Cheese and Vegemite are even better

A great combination on toast. I also like a little Ketchup with my cheese on toast. Nothing beats a Breville sandwich, of course.
