Is this the holy Grail of collecting? (Vintage Wasconat)

I’ll convert the motor to run-off 230 and then use a static phase converter, as all of those don’t have any electric heating, so I guess as long as the Motor is under 5 hp, it should be fine

What’s your favourite washing machine cleaner?

With me, I occasionally run a cleaner through my washing machines, as I do notice that even if I run Washers above 60° it does seem to be a very small amount of some sort of lint Ish looking residue or film on the stainless steel depending on where you rub wipe and look, granted the machine that...

What’s your favourite washing machine cleaner?

Hey guys I wanted to ask what everyone’s favourite washing machine cleaners are? Personally mine for European front loaders/H axis with heaters would be Dr Beckman’s washing machine cleaner and for top loaders without heaters I would use the liquid washing machine cleaner that comes from Japan...

    Kirkland laundry detergent

Combo 52, just curious what would you think is considered a “cheap” detergent as I know the one that my Work used to use before they switched to the L cheapo brands that you can get 4 kg for five bucks, they used to use a commercial detergent that was $75 for a 25 kg bag, once I use up all the...

    Kirkland laundry detergent

I thought they pulled out of the detergent manufacturing business for other companies so if they are still making it that’s a great thing, although I had a look at the bottle in person and the label saysmade in China” so maybe it’s not made by Henkel anymore

    Kirkland laundry detergent

Hey guys, I’m a little curious. Does anybody know who makes the Costco laundry detergent now? As it used to be a different company but they pulled back from making “ storebrand“ products so does anybody know if the Kirkland ultra liquid still does a really good job? As I’ve been thinking about...

Converting something from steam heated to electric

Great news I’ve got an idea of how I can convert it from steam heated to electric heated This means that I can use the original fittings instead of having to cut a hole in the machine, probably the easiest solution would be using the rod style immersion heaters like the one on the first image...

Converting something from steam heated to electric

Oh, this machine does not have any set program, it’s literally just on and off and it only Tumble, fill and drain are completely manual as well as timing so I’m assuming shouldn’t it be better to let it sit and heat or tumble and heat? I’m almost thinking about having The set up start tumbling...

    Restor’ my Thor

A six minute long video of everything physically working in this machine, all I really did was anything that moved. I put a little bit of sewing machine oil, again, I didn’t put anything in the transmission though I probably should at least check to see if there is anything in the transmission...

    Restor’ my Thor

Great news I’ve replaced the original wiring between the wall plug the switch and the motor and it’s all working, I just need to make sure that the motor is going the right direction and it’s changing direction where it needs to if it does. (not sure how it works) but I’ll try to put a belt on...

    Restor’ my Thor

Great news guys, it’s all freed up with a bit of time and turning and I think I might have to replace the wiring between the switch and the motor but the shift selector is now working. The transmission is turning and the switch probably needs a bit of a clean out. Honestly I would never thought...
