Great news guys, it’s all freed up with a bit of time and turning and I think I might have to replace the wiring between the switch and the motor but the shift selector is now working. The transmission is turning and the switch probably needs a bit of a clean out.

Honestly I would never thought I would’ve gotten this far. Let alone physically have gotten the cabinet apart in two pieces, now all I need to do is replace the cables check if there’s oil in the transmission and then going from there as for somewhat reason there was a can of oil inside the machine like a small can about the size of the motor for the machine.

Great news I’ve replaced the original wiring between the wall plug the switch and the motor and it’s all working, I just need to make sure that the motor is going the right direction and it’s changing direction where it needs to if it does. (not sure how it works) but I’ll try to put a belt on it today.

A six minute long video of everything physically working in this machine,

all I really did was anything that moved. I put a little bit of sewing machine oil, again, I didn’t put anything in the transmission though I probably should at least check to see if there is anything in the transmission, but for the age of it all, I’m surprised it’s all still working in there, and I should probably find a proper size belt that actually does fit instead of using the other one that came off the other machine as this one does not have belt tension apart from the belt that would physically fit in the pulleys
