Water level adjustment for a new Whirlpool frontloader?

I agree with you Mark! If it's one thing I want to see the most is things like more recirculation pumps with spray rinses during the spin on front loaders! Hell, WP could even mimic a spray rinse on the final spin to resemble what their DD top loaders did on their final spins with the sprays...

Water level adjustment for a new Whirlpool frontloader?

Normal with WP DUET I own the WFW72HEDW which is the BOL version, and Yes I do not see any sloshing on the Normal cycle either, or water when it's empty like that. Nonetheless clothes have been coming out clean since the the day we bought it (2 years ago). On the Normal cycle, the machine...

Can a Speed Queen Balance a phone book and quarter at the same time?

Not Surprised Try this on a VMW washer and it will blow up, especially a Samsung.

Follow-up on LG FL washer...a year later. SQ it is.

This has truly been on of the most interestingly intriguing threads I have ever read. It really does show how all front loaders despite having the same appearance in design, behave differently from one another causing issues here and there. Judging that load I really can't see anything wrong...

Follow-up on LG FL washer...a year later. SQ it is.

While you wait for you new SQ TL... Enjoy (Don't raise it too high). I must say, reading this thread made me reconsider getting an LG FL, turbowash does not seem to be all the rage of what it sounded and looked like. I'll probably stick with a WP made FL.

Follow-up on LG FL washer...a year later. SQ it is.

One thing however I did notice on the 4.5 CF models of the LG's, which are the newer models and upgraded from the 4.3 CF models, is that their cleaning score has dropped to a "Very Good" as opposed to "Excellent" which was found on the older 4.3 CF models. I also did note how the ratings have...

I just fell in love with impellar washers!

One thing... Just one thing I wish is FL's and HE TL's would use recirculation pumps standard on all models, and kept them on all cycle long for the washes an rinses. In both units It would really help cleaning performance and also help to shorten times.

I just fell in love with impellar washers!

Samsung and a king size comforter: This would be a true bulky load test, but I'd still prefer a FL to wash bulky items like these.

    Maytag 1999 Jetclean Dishwashers!

Our house came with this dishwasher and it was still working when we got rid of it at the age of 14 years. Seriously the best dishwasher ever designed, everything would always come out clean and dry. Sometimes I really wish I still had it, but the closest I have to it is a used Whirlpool...

    Con Rpts said what?

@ mark_wpduet I still feel this way, which also makes me strongly believe that CR means the impeller washers and possibly not FL. When we did a load of towels in our old Inglis TL, they would be washed on hot on the normal cycle. When they came out of the dryer, the lint screen would have a...

    Maytag 8100 Front-Loader: Spin Problem

Jeans and FL's Washing jeans in my WP Duet clone have never been consistent when it comes to the spin cycle, washing yes, but not spin. A couple weeks back we did a load of 5 pairs of jeans and at the second spin, everything seemed balanced and there was little tub movement, until it began...

    Need new washer. Please advise.

Your best bet would be a Maytag or Whirlpool FL, i've owned my WP Duet for 2 years now and not a single part has been replaced. On top of that it cleans very good. Your next bet would probably be an LG FL, BUT make sure you get one with Turbowash (Accelawash on Kenmore's), without it, cycle...

    Help !!!!!

I think removing a spin on the previous models also helps to save water as the clothes are already saturated. On the newer ones I don't think they are as stingy anymore judging by the fact the spin is present. Either way, I always found that by the time it got the the final rinse the water...

    Help !!!!!

Maytag. I own the WP cousin: WFW72HEDW. The only cycle it dumbs down temps is the normal cycle, all the rest give you straight up a hot wash when you select hot. It is currently running in at a little over 2 years and no parts have been replaced. No mold or smells either. The Maytag comes...

Neat OOB Switch on SQ FL

"One minute it crashed" I think it may be possible that the tub ended up hitting the door lock mechanism and its possible that it may have knocked the wire going to the door lock, out, deactivating the locking part causing the door to open up with the movement of the tub. Or, the door lock may...

Kenmore 15113 vs. Kitchenaid Spray Arm

It has arrived! The arm arrived today! First impressions of it, I was expecting it to be much heavier, seems roughly more or less than the weight of the current arm, but that said it does feel a little more solid too... HOWEVER, the spray arms metal parts feel like all it is, is just shiny...

    GE GTW330ASKWW

No Problem :) I love that the channel owner films videos of the washers he has in stock, it's very cool to see how even same brands can vary, case in point GE.

    GE GTW330ASKWW

I'd get the 330 and not the 460 model. The wash action in the 330 is much more vigorous even with clothes while in the 460 it seems much more tame. 330 460 (Similar to the 460)

Maytag Jetclean Still underfilling after new water inlet valve replacement

Drain? How high is your drain hose installed? I noticed you said you drained the unit and after that it began surging, could a possible siphon be taking place?
