MAYTAG JET-CLEAN DISHWASHERS

I love thier survey results MAYTAG IS THE # ! PREFERRED DISHWASHER BRAND and yet KM DWs built by WP, KA DWs built by WP and GE DWs were all handily out selling MT at the time and through the end of the MT brand. These were very good machines and this was one of MTs many stupid decisions in the last 10 years of thier existence when they came out with the tall tub machines they dropped this design like a rock in favor of the new much poorer performing machine. WP is at least still building thier standard tub design machine, MT should have kept theirs longer while they worked the many kinks out of the new tall tubs.

This TOL Maytag was the best dishwasher I ever owned, I purchased mine in the summer of 2001, when we remodled our kitchen. It cleaned the best of any dishwasher I ever owned, and I miss it. I loved the sleek design, the loading capabilites, and the auto clean cycle. They could have made this dishwasher with just the autoclean cycle, and it would have been just fine. Too bad Maytag stopped making beautiful products like this.

MDB7100

ughh.. You made me "home sick" for this dishwasher...

My parents had the MDB7100, and it was the best dishwasher I've ever used.. EVERYTHING came out clean!

I wish I would of taken it out of the house when they sold it, and have it in mine.

I agree, too bad Maytag dropped this design and went with the tall tub. :-(

I do like my Maytag Tall tub, but this Jetclean tower model is far better!!

I had the 6100

I so regret not switching that machine out when I sold that house.

It would clean anything you put in it and could get the door shut, and it was quiet.

Our house came with this dishwasher and it was still working when we got rid of it at the age of 14 years. Seriously the best dishwasher ever designed, everything would always come out clean and dry.

Sometimes I really wish I still had it, but the closest I have to it is a used Whirlpool durawash in the basement.

I had a 9100 for 12 years. Ran great and everything came out flawlessly. Only had issues with it when they came out to do the repair for the rinse aid dispenser recall. Control panel fried about a month after that.
