    mtn1584  get you a shop light with a 60 ro 75 watt bulb in it and place it inside the washer drum with the lib down that should generate enought heat to keep the machine warm and nothing to freeze.

    Frigilux Right top control on the Maytag.  That is the warm water cold water for the A700 machine.  This was my moms first automatic washer.

    Lookie Lookie what I found and is all mine! ;)

    The hand wash was like a 3rd speed slow and the spin was the slower spin.  We used to used the other speeds too like for work gloves used the normal the lower water level and the small agitstor did not kick up the water too much.
