Any Radio Buffs in the crowd?

Wow. Rarely does one find a complete setup in working condition. Please transcribe the wire recordings to something more stable. (They tend to turn into birds nests easily.) But thats awesome!

OT: I just bought a bike

Or at least parts for one. As best I can tell, this is a 1920s Montgomery Wards frame. I'll probably put in a modern crank, hub, and wheels. But either way it'll be cooler and more interestng than the "dime a dozen" cruisers in the neighborhood.

    Salvaging a dead refrigerator?

Hey guys, My "other" machine finally burnt the compressor and my friend needs the carcass out of his garage. I'm planning on salvagaing the hardware, Textolite strips, cold control, switches, and of course everything that says GE on it. Any other ideas for parts that I'll kick myself for...

    Preserving Vintage Ads

And you might want to get UV-resistant glass when you frame the ads. I store a number of catalogs in archival plastic sleeves. I know people who store vintage postcards the same way.
