I've had this set for almost three years with no issues, bought a second set for my condo last year, no issues...and now my sister owns a set...no issues either. I bought my Speed Queens based on high recommendations from the folks on this site, and have been very pleased.

I believe that they reduced it by 5 gallons - or a couple of inches in water level from what I can tell. So, probably a "large" level as traditionally defined, rather than an XL.
Wow, wish I had that talent. I love old clocks, but sadly just let them be as I don't want to risk destroying them by taking the apart. I'm good at that part - putting stuff back together, not so good. :)
Would love to see a video without the filter on top of the agitator. Love that sound! A nice rolling sea of suds for sure! Thanks for sharing--looking forward to a small/medium load and full view of those agitator blades!

I added the laundry and the washer began to whirl and the bubbles got to work...by the end of the 12 minute cycle, the bubbles were nearly gone (as it does today).
I originally decided that I would just leave them as-is and not open them, but I couldn’t resists to find out what would happen!
I was a bit concerned what might happen with a detergent that’s been around for nearly 1/2 a century, so I garnered up some old towels.
First, I used hot water and...
