Its just a claim Personally I think that's all it is. Engineering is out and marketing is in. If they replaced machines which didn't make it to that mark then that would be far better.

Tell me more please I have repaired a few Miele dishwashers. Which valve in particular is leaking? If its the diverter valve in the circulation pump? (Which switches between the upper and lower spray arms)

You too will need to visit this site This site has technical documents for many recent Miele machines. Its in French but if you use Chrome, then it will translate it for you. It has washing machines, dryers, ironers, ovens etc. Programming instructions, wiring diagrams, error messages...

Does the water drip with the power off? Is it dripping on the main wash, prewash or softener outlets? If the water drips when the power is off there may be debris in the valve which you could clean out.

If it's like my w1511 then no. How old is the machine? My w1511 has an edpl200 control/power board. The on button is built into this board and there is no fuse. I have seen some blow the chip responsible power supply (a Phillips chip labelled tea1522t).

self healing rubber? Is it leaking because of a chunk is missing from the edge or because there is a hole at 9 and or 3 o'clock positions of the inner folds? A bicycle inner-tube patch and high temp silicone sealant has worked for me. I've seen holes appear at 9/3 positions on older machines...

Thank you For your responses. I had it in my mind that the drying temperatures were more summer breeze like for the gentle option and not 8 degrees from regular (target wise). It also brings home the thought that items won't shrivel should they be hot washed. Cheers and keep up the good work...

Is it not working because the float switch has been activated? Try running it without the polystyrene float and maybe without the base plate. What model machine do you have?

After loading many Miele machines I tend to lay them on the side (Drawer side down). All the wet stuff is on this side and the electronics tend to live on the other side. For me it avoids a bigger lift. This becomes a smaller lift (Almost a tip) and then slide (On a heavy sheet or blanket)...
