I purchased Woolite in the dark bottle at BJs. I used 2 tbs per load of permanent press/colors. Rinses clean and the scent is very mild. Cleaned very well. If I have stains I always pre-treat with SHOUT.

so many nice 1-18's still in use. Some look showroom new. The Frigidaire Elites: Although they are not 1-18's they too look like they are frozen in time, just out of the box. They have that funky corkscrew agitator that is still fun to watch.

Rumor has it Haier is going to make a move to purchase Alliance for the commercial appliance division. Most likely they will purge the home appliances. This will give GE Appliances a full line of laundry appliances.

Borax? I keep a box of borax in the house and use it when scrubbing the tub and toilet. I use some Pine Glo (made in good ole NC) for disinfectant and cleaning properties. The borax provides just enough abrasive without removing the shiny finish IMHO.
