    Windshield Wiper Blades--

I use the Rain-X treatment on the front, side and rear window as well as the exterior mirrors...works great in repelling the water. Just spray on, wait a couple of minutes and buff. Gary

Legends of Dishwashing: The Maytag Reverse Rack

Kevin, the upper rack did have the drop down tines which made it easy to load pots, casserole dishes, etc. on top. The entire back part of the rack could be flat. The lower rack had the cup shelves also. All in all very flexible loading ability. Pete, yes it was a WU702.

Legends of Dishwashing: The Maytag Reverse Rack

I had the model 1 below the top of the line all pushbutton model. I purchased it new in 1991 and used it until 2007. It was a great machine, cleaned everything without pre-rinsing but as stated, it was loud. The pics were taken in 2007 just before I replaced it with a Kitchen Aid. Gary

    Old cars vs New cars

All of my cars have had cruise control and I couldn't do without it. I use it every time I am in the car. The cruise control on my Lincoln MKC can be set to be either adaptive or regular. I like the adaptive cruise control but I find that the gap it leaves with the car in front is too big...

    Cuisinart Stand Up Waffle Maker

The Cuisinart has an alarm that indicates when it has heated as well as when the cooking is done. There was no mess to clean up which is what I liked the best and it does make great waffles.

    Washer tour of Ontario

Could the switch be to reset the circuit breaker if something is plugged into the receptacle that trips the breaker? I have a Kenmore that has the switch to do this. Or could it be for a console light? Gary

    Cuisinart Stand Up Waffle Maker

It was easy to use and once I got the hang of it, the waffles turned out nice. The batter I used was a little too thick and thus did not always fill the entire cavity. I froze the remaining waffles. I just take them out and reheat in the toaster oven or toaster. There was no mess to clean up...

    Cuisinart Stand Up Waffle Maker

I was channel surfing and came upon this waffle maker on the Shopping Channel (always a bad sign for me LOL). They were having a 15% discount, free shipping, 4 no interest payments and included the scraper, whisk, vegetable peeler and measuring cup so how could I resist :-) I have a flat model...

Who Still Watches a CRT Television?

I have my mom's RCA 26" cabinet tube TV from the early 1980s. Still works but it is not my primary TV. The narrow picture is a result of the program being broadcast - the full screen is functional. Gary

Butter 4 months past its expiration date

I keep a small amount of butter in the cupboard because I like it to be soft for spreading on bread, etc. Sometimes it will be several weeks (I don't use a lot of butter) and I have never had it go bad. Gary
