The new Buick LaCrosse - any owners?

I'm usually emotion-less when buying a car - but I found myself back at the dealership looking it over 5 times the following week, finally, I caved. So far, I love it - the Harmon Kardon radio has it's oddities (constantly having to adjust the bass, etc.), but the car puts me into a bliss when...

The new Buick LaCrosse - any owners?

Well, it's official--back in a Buick today! I never thought that would happen. I keep trying to find excuses to go drive it. I'm loving it so far! I'd forgotten how nice a drive can be.

The new Buick LaCrosse - any owners?

I always loved the electroluminescent lighting on the side as well of the Park Avenue. The Sixty Series Fleetwood had the Cadillac crest lit as well. Good times.

The new Buick LaCrosse - any owners?

With the passing of the 2011 Cadillac DTS, the wonderful "cornering" light will be forever gone. I think the Nissan Maxima is the only car that still has them - love those things! Beautiful Park Ave Ultra! That champagne color was always great.

PhilR - beautiful car - thanks for the links - brought back memories - especially riding in the back on night on the way to my doctors house - yep house - lived in a small town and you would go there late at night vs. the hospital if you were sick. Times have changed.

The new Buick LaCrosse - any owners?

I've owned a '79 Buick Regal (first car), 1985 Electra, 1985 Park Avenue Coupe (very rare), and a 1982 Buick Century. I owned them all in my late teens, early 20s, and then progressed on to other brands. I always loved Buicks for their comfort...and the fact they were NOT a sports car back...

The new Buick LaCrosse - any owners?

Well, after reading about a classic Buick Riv on here a week or so again, I found myself test driving the new LaCrosse. I have to admit, I think I'm in love...smoooooth as glass, quiet as a temple, and really great looks. The comfort and QuietTuning remind me of days gone by when your car was...

CNBC Titans - Proctor and Gamble

I miss the original Pampers logo...the new one looks like a toy logo or something. Not into diapers, but into design. :)

CNBC Titans - Proctor and Gamble

Did anyone see this episode - my Tivo picked it up for me...had some really interesting info on it - and great shots of vintage detergent...especially Tide of course and how it changed the world, etc. They said that people would cross state lines when it was first introduced to buy some.

    I WON!

Neat!  I still imagine those 50s sitcoms when someone won a year supply of something and they would ship a pallet of it to their house.  :)

ASKO: Meet The 3 hour + 25 minute Dishwasher Cycle

Yep, my dishwasher is one with 3 hr wash, and 4 hour soak...and must have rinse aid for it to work properly. A pain at busy times. [this post was last edited: 7/5/2011-10:43]
