Launderess was the oxygen bleach you combined with the Tide Free & Gentle a liquid or a powder? Would you say the combination worked as well as Persil Universal? Maytag neptune MAH7500AWW

Neptune MAH6500AWW Was the model I owned until it was destroyed by a flood, the same model replaced it but I had plenty of problems with it, not knowing at the time it was detergent and water related, not the machine, as I discovered after I replaced it with a different FL'r and had similar...

"Studies in the LGeeee" aka, WILD TURBO PIX

inlet filters are to be removed for cleaning only, removing them may cause leaks and malfunctions is what the manual says. It also warns of an error message if there is weak water pressure in the detergent drawer or a clogged inlet filter. There is a filter on the other side of the inlet filter...

@mickeyd Please let me know if you remove the restrictors, providing they are there, and if there is any change in the fill time or water level(s) Tks

The sense and non-sense of flow-restrictors!

@henene4 If the machine senses the load size before filling maybe the restrictors are there to dissolve the detergent drawer completely while filling? I'm only guessing and since your machine does work well with sufficient amounts I can understand why you would not remove them. I removed mine...

"Studies in the LGeeee" aka, WILD TURBO PIX

@mickeyd Did you take out the orange caps,or flow restrictors, that were in the fill hose compartment. Some people do, some don't, I'm wondering if it would damage the machine over time by removing them or does it just let the machine fill faster.I took mine out thinking it was a part of the...

Modern Washers- Select Hot and get Warm- Are they all this way?

Got it Mickeyd So I can do a Y connector on both the machine and the hot tap and get another hose for the line to the cold valve, since I don't have a laundry sink in my room. Tks

Modern Washers- Select Hot and get Warm- Are they all this way?

@mickeyd So are you saying you attached the cold water line to the hot water laundry sink tap? If so the machine did not detect hot water entering the cold water inlet and kept running. Or did you use a Y connector on the machine for the hot water in the cold valve on the machine with the cold...

Modern Washers- Select Hot and get Warm- Are they all this way?

@ Yogitunes I could drill this hot side of the water valve, but the machine is new and I'm afraid of damaging the machine and voiding the warranty also the screen on each side looks like it is inside meaning I'd have to remove the water valve from the unit to do the drilling, if that makes...
