P&G Tide "Pods" Killing the Laundry Soap Industry?

@jerrod6 I've tried the purex pods from a sample I had with no luck, dissolved well but too sudsy even for the full load, it could be my soft water adding to the problem as well, who knows?

Dubbed down or dumbed down hot water wash

When I keep reading threads like this I wonder where will something as simplistic as doing a load of laundry will end (?) between laundry machines so bad with low water usage and water temperatures coupled with detergent "improvements" will we be back to where it all started, yes I dare say it...

    Persil Megaperls Color

@jerrod6 I've tried the Miele sports wash never liked the scent. Sounds like the problem with Megaperls is with dosage, I did try a teaspoon this morning and there was a difference. Since it is megaperls and not powder it is more concentrated so follow dosage according to product TYPE. I'll...

    Persil Megaperls Color

Anyone find after using this for a period that a somewhat strong scent remains in the clothes?I find the scent remains stronger in fitness clothing. I use about a tablespoon and a half per load, so would it work as well if I cut it in half? Unless there is another color safe detergent to use out...

Quick question - Adjusting water level on a Neptune 5500 washer

same as Yogitunes with the neptune I had it rinsed very well. @tecnopolis have you changed any of the newer machines water levels? Apparently, if I'm correct in this, the newer water level swithes have a circuit board making it more difficult?

    Whirlpool trash

@mark Maybe by then the only thing will be a FL'r available to you, so here's hoping that they will be manufacturing something that is still a decent machine to use and worth investing. If enough people are complaining through consumer watch dogs, etc. about what they have to choose from now and...

    Whirlpool trash

Interesting Thread I've thought about this myself seeing how the newer top loaders are being built to have a short life span and phase them out with FL'rs so people are forced to buy something they may not want to start using and in all probability the newer FL'rs will be built the same way of...

    Duet Water fill/Rinse issues

@dadoes My duet USE to add cold water at the end of the normal wash cycle, for some reason it doesn't anymore, and it doesn't add any water to the bleach dispenser in the second segment like it use to either. If I put softner in the dispenser it usually spits it out during the fill phase of the...
