    Servis Quartz Club

Hi Steve,   Congratulations on getting the Servis up and running - certainly looks a smart example.  Looking forward to seeing it in action!   Jon

    New Candy Aquamatic! +other changes

Nice additions!  Seems Hoover/Candy are ones to watch, they seem to be one of the most common-sense manufacturers when it comes to programming nowadays.   Having used a "Hoover Bling" these latest models are looking promising :)   Jon

    My new dishwasher!!

I think half of it can be attributed to my fussiness, then realising I was right in the first place - but don't tell Jack I admit that lol!   Jon

    London Wash-In

Thank you Al for such a fab weekend!  Was nice to have a chilled, relaxed weekend in the presence of good company, wine, washers and vacs!    We hope you were able to take opportunity on the Monday to have a well earned rest!   Jon & Jack x

    Indesit on Watchdog again

Interestingly, the so called "problem" models are the Polish made smaller capacity ones, not the larger capacity models that are made in Italy.  Wonder if there is correlation between different factories etc...   Any bad press is a shame really, the 4 Hotpoints I've used from their latest...

    My new dishwasher!!

Glad to see the AEG still impresses, Jon ;).   Currently Bosching it at the moment in terms of dishwashing - back with the Meelay for the laundry though; perhaps this is opportune for another thread, my "new new dishwasher" lol :)   Jon

    My new dishwasher!!

Washer111, as mentioned in my post yesterday it is a long long time since I used that dishwasher and was replaced in late 2005 for an integrated dishwasher which my parents still have (they took it with them to their new house)... so I couldn't possibly tell you details about the drying...

    My new dishwasher!!

On a more positive note - as far as I know this dishwasher is still running well at my mum's friends house, after being replaced when we got an integrated kitchen in the old house.  That was also 2 kitchens ago for my parents... how time flies!   Jon

    My new dishwasher!!

Glenfield, was it really necessary to boost up an old thread just to attempt to correct an 8 year old post?   Just wondering...

500,000 homes in dishwasher fire risk alert

Perhaps so Gary... ...complete with a Hoover frontloader on it's fast spin to add to the fiery explosion ;)

P&G readies European invasion for Tide Pods

Interesting - wondering if, now that the three liquids are seperate in order to promote stability for the different ingredients - if this would be the first liquid product to contain bleaching agents?   Jon

P&G Detergents (Daz, Ariel, Bold, Fairy)

Personally I've found "Throw & Go" the most effective detergent by far.  You can have your Ariel and Persil, I'll swap one packet of my Ariel powder for two packets of Throw and Go ;-)

    EBAY UK FEBUARY

Placed a bid on the Servis Compact seeming as it is so local, wish me luck!   (Seems like this is going to be another expensive month lol)   Jon

    EBAY UK FEBUARY

Yeah - but the 3060 was in Lincoln too lol :)

    EBAY UK FEBUARY

Bloody hell.  Lincoln, Nottingham... they're all popping up to tempt whilst I'm trying to clear out some space! Lol

    Fabric Softner

How offensive indeed - liberator is 35 years out Chris ;)   Tehehe.   Back to the fabric softeners... :)
