same issue I had the same issue.Called gas company and they replaced the coils. no help. Called a local reputable service tech and they said vent pipe was to long. Helped but not happy as vented under home. This is SQ gas dryer. I hate how the coils come on and off on and off so frequently...

I have this machine in storage. Parts are def no longer available. I even wrote to Sanyo and they said sorry. Mine was a worn out timer. I fixed it by filing the brass teeth wit a tiny file. It now grabs the mechanism fine but I dont know for how long.
