    Bingo...laundry detergent

We have Bingo and other Hayat products in every supermarket and shop here in Bulgaria. They are very popular because of the low price and the good quality. I use their thick bleach - 2 times cheaper than Domestos. Why buy the expensive one when the cheap is virtually the same thing.

    Bold laundry detergent?!!

gorenje I mentioned Italy, but I forgot about France and Benelux. :) Dalli Werke's private label products are great for their price. However, their own brands are far away from perfection. Their Dalli powders are mediocre. I guess this will be the case with Dalli's Dash and Bonux. We have to...

    Bold laundry detergent?!!

Maybe something is going on with Procter & Gamble Europe... Most definitely. First of all, Eastern European Tide/Vizir is discontinued (finally, after long and painful agony). Second of all, Bonux was sold to Dalli-Werke. Strange, it was successful brand here in Eastern Europe. Third of all...

    Hard Towels

Which powder in the UK has the least zeolites? liberatordeluxe, brands like Persil, Surf, Ariel, Daz, Bold contain <5% zeolites. Even though I don't recommend them, the liquid detergents do not contain zeolites or other insoluble or precipitating ingredients. However, all of the modern...

    Hard Towels

Liberatordeluxe, you need a good rinse. Tesco powder contains quite a good ammount of zeolites, which are known for making fabrics rough, because they are rinsed out very hard. Good rinse will give you soft fabrics even without the evil softener.

    Illness, Laundry, and Cleaning

This is cancer. Do what your doctor say and hope it will not reappear. BCG gives good results in some cases of bladder cancer. My father had several TURBT in 2016 (no BCG treatments) and after all, the cancer spread to the prostate. His bladder and prostate were removed in March 2017 - he has...

Tide vs. Persil & and the rest

Unfortunately Formil superconcentrated liquid from Lidl does not contain 6 enzymes anymore. It contains now protease, lipase and three glycosidases. Some time ago it contained protease, amylase, lipase, mannanase, cellulase and colour version additionally pectate lyase. This doesn't make it bad...

    Best smelling washing powder

Sorry, you are right. I don't use liquid detergents and capsules and I don't care about them even if they contain cellulase that's why my post was kind of misleading.

    Best smelling washing powder

I find Henkel's Persil (a.k.a. Dixan) best smelling: clean, subtle and it doesn't leave any scent on clothes. Ariel's smell is too strong and sharp; my eyes are watering from Ariel. OMO (a.k.a. Persil in UK and Skip in some other countries) is somehow better, but still too strong. I also like...

Method concentrated laundry detergent Wild Lavender

Here is the ingredients list in one of Calgon versions: Zeolite, Sodium Sulfate, Sodium Polyacrylate, Aqua, Bentonite, PEG-200, Polydimethylsiloxane, Tetrasodium Etidronate, Colorant. As you can see, no washing soda, no harsh alkali inside. Anyway, Calgon is too expensive. Lidl own brand W5...

Use Calgon or any other water softener.

Method concentrated laundry detergent Wild Lavender

It's strange how people in the UK are the only ones in the world who use non-bio detergents without enzymes, because enzymes cause allergies (which is not true, of course), but they don't mind using lavender scented detergents and household perfumes, which are full of artificial chemicals that...

    Liquid vs Powder vs Pods.

Liquid detergents don't contain oils as far as I know (I mean, I've never seen liquid detergent with oil inside). Some formulas contain thickeners that leave thin (then thicker) film on the inside parts of the machine - perfect substrate for mildew growth. Softeners contain tallow derivates...

    Sainsbury's Bio powder

OK, I'm that close of buying a box of Sainsbury's Bio powder (20 washes) + Sainsbury's 2 in 1 Powder Lavender and Jasmine (10 washes) + Tesco Colour Powder (10 washes) from britsuperstore. I'm going to spend £17.72 for shipping to Bulgaria. I don't know how to measure 97 ml, but I need to have...

    Sainsbury's Bio powder

The Netherlands? I guess the manufacturer is Senzora. I should have known by the dosing bottle. http://detergenten.info/

    Sainsbury's Bio powder

Thank you, Rolls_rapide! Any good soul to give me the barcode, please! I can't find side picture of the box. I'm really interested to see the composition of the bio powder and the concentrated powder in a bottle (especially the second one). I've always found McBrides products terrible and I...

    Sainsbury's Bio powder

What's wrong with these people: how am I supposed to measure 97 ml? Not 100, not 90, it has to be 97! The manufacturer is McBride, isn't it? Where can I find the ingredients declaration? There's nothing on Sainsbury's site. I'm also interested in this compact powder in bottle. It's quite good...

    The Ariel Saga

Wow, blue Ariel and it doesn't stain the clothes! I want one! I bet it smells gorgeous. Is it suitable for European machines?
