Why is This Morning saying that Whirlpool dryers are faulty? They're not, Whirlpool just owns the other brands...
This Morning needs to get their facts right, I've answered loads of people questions fretting that their Whirlpool dryers are affected...
Would probably be my Bosch Classixx set. Two brilliant machines, with excellent Bosch build quality, all for Beko money!
However my dream machine would be a Bosch Serie 8/Logixx.
Every machine I've had had to be tuned off by the dial. It's not unusual. Although my Whirlpool and Bosch which are both under a year old, turn off automatically after 20 minutes or so of the programme finishing. You still need to turn the dial to the off position afterwards though.
On my Classixx I generally use;
Easy Care 40 for normal darks (takes about 1:30)
Cottons 60-90 for Towels
Cottons/Eaaycare 60 for bedding
Eaaycare 60 for whites (underwear etc)
Hope that helps, I obviously use the other programmes but those are my main ones. I don't use the mixed cycle much...
Hi Henrik :)
I've never used Iron Dry on either of my Bosch dryers, no real reason for me to do so. My mum rarely irons and the stuff she does iron has already been in the dryer!!
Chris
I use powder for for just about all of my normal loads. Ariel Bio for whites, towels and sheets and Ariel Colour for darks.
I only ever use liquid for small loads or delicates, in which I have some Waitrose liquid. I also have some Ariel 3 in 1 Pods which I don't like very much!
My mum always...
Ahh yes please. My Whirlpool senses the load like an LG before filing so it's rather interesting to watch. My dads Classixx sometimes fills without tumbling and sometimes it moves, depending on programme. :)
Very pleased you got it sorted! Easy mistake to make really, I found the transit bolts in my dads Classixx more difficult to remove than the ones in my whirlpool.
Hopefully it will give you many years of reliable and enjoyable washing! Would love to see a video of it!
Look forward to the video. :)
Also my old Bosch from 2005 had a tube for draining excess water too. So must have been around for a while. I a good idea I think!
Yes I know about Beko. They seem reliable enough but not really my scene, however I'm planning to get one for my new holiday home in Cyprus.
My old Bosch dishwasher was also on the recall list, but it never had a single issue in the 12 years that it was in my old house. It was only replaced as...
Many thanks for the pictures! It looks lovely, helpfully I can have another Bosch at my mums soon to replace the Whirlpool.
What temperature options does it have? I presume the normal cold,20,30,40,60,90?
Thanks.
Glad to hear you're going for two separate machines. It is possible that Siemens will be no more, but we will have to wait and see!
I'm sorry to hear you're having a few problems with it, hopefully they can be easily rectified. Please could you post some pictures of it?
Thanks.
