Hello AW family, hope all is well. I’m doing well myself. Just finished my last year of college on Thursday. It’s a bittersweet moment, but I’ve enjoyed my time. Anyways, May is Maytag Month! How are you celebrating? Let’s see those machines and bobloads galore!

Reply #5 Hope you are doing well! When I say "experts" I was being facetious, but yes you are correct. The only time I use the quick wash cycle is when I have a few items to wash, usually one or two.

Reply #1 Does your LG have the TurboWash setting? Fifteen minutes isn't bad at all.

Congrats on the Neptunes! They look spectacular. I knew someone who had the 7500 years ago. These are one of my favorite front load washers from the past twenty years or so, along with the Duets/Hettie.

It doesn’t surprise me that they would get recalled. This is the second recall on their washing machines if I’m not mistaken.

Maytag just released a new washer and dryer that has the ability to eliminate pet hair from clothes. The agitator is modified on this washer and has a removable filter in the center. Seems like they got the idea from their vintage washers. They currently aren’t available in stores yet, however...
