1-18 HELP Please

Hi everyone got a problem with My 1-18. It seems to be straining when it goes into the spin cycle and then it blows the breaker I'm doing a big load of towels so...is it over loaded ...something in the pump where would you 1-18experts say I should start ...any help would be greatly appreciated thanks

The spin clutch might be sticking. It could be caused by a bad tub seal leaking some water.

Normally, the clutch allows some slippage when the tub starts to spin to remove strain on the motor.

That never happened to me with a 1-18 but other members had this problem.

Usually, it's the motor protector that trips, not the house circuit breaker. You might want to try to make sure your circuit breaker is fine by trying to spin it on another circuit if you have a good extension cord.

Remove the front panel of the washer (by removing the 3 screws at the bottom and sliding it down) and look for traces of water leaks. if everything is normal there, you should see some rubber from the belt but no traces of leaks.
